I feel like going with my gut feeling on my major decisions may not be the best idea. My gut has been nothing but trouble for me in the past year.  But, what else can I do?

Here’s a hint, I’m rarely on Tumblr unless things aren’t going well.

Ok, am I the ONLY person who hates Post Modern Jukebox? Like yes, they are great singers. But like....they ruin the song!! They focus so much on being true to the time period they are trying to copy that they take meaning out of the song. Songs that have raw emotions are completely ruined and go over people’s heads because it “sounds nice” but the words become totally meaningless. Some of the covers are great, but there are only a few I can stand to listen to. Then, some middle aged people, who hate modern music are like...oh my gosh I couldn’t stand this song before but now its great! Cool....so you like 50s style big band music....just go listen to it, because Creep by Radiohead is not a big band song, and neither is Say It Ain’t So by Weezer. 

All I’m sayin’ is....there’s a right way to cover songs and a wrong way. And they suck at it. I can’t believe they are actually touring the country and have concerts. This is coming from someone that loves swing music and lots of old-timey stuff, so.

Omg Chris Thile (swoon). He’s the best. He is somehow able to make covers of songs that sound better than the original. Also check out his Radiohead covers. Yes, Radiohead. I swear he is a genius.
