♣ Growing Up ♣
Parker grew up never wanting for anything. Her father, Marshall, was already established as a successful psychologist by the time she was born, and never hesitated to spend the money he earned on his daughter.
As a child, small, bubbly Parker was well liked. She was content, happy with the friends she had, and happy with the group she fit into. She was never popular, but she was never bullied either. Little Parker just coasted through elementary and middle school in middle ground, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

During her freshman year of high school, Parker started to notice the expectations her teachers placed on her, simply because of her father’s success. She hated being held to a standard she couldn’t quite achieve, just because her dad was smart. Her grades started slipping as she fell behind in math and history.
Midway through the year she decided it was time for a change. She started pushing against her father, refusing help, and making decisions based solely on her father’s reaction. She dropped her old friends so she could try and join the outsider crowd. She started drinking and smoking.
No matter how hard Parker tried to do a complete one eighty from who she used to be, she never could get the hang of being mean. Every time she would do something senselessly cruel, she’d be left with a horrible feeling of guilt, though she’d never admit it.
