I wish i knew why. Maybe bc i used to come across so many fics which used this trope.

Also when there is a superdangerous situation, there is a capable person or team who can handle the situation, and someone tells reader to stay put, and they still try to be the hero (they're not trained to fight someone and they have no skill or idea to solve the issue, but they still go in and then get shot / kidnapped / stabbed / knocked out etc etc.)

And then reader is like "well i couldn't just do nothing!"

You should've. You just made the situation worse and put everybody in bigger danger cause they now don't only have to focus on the problem at hand but now they gotta help you, cause you wanted to be the center of attention 😭

It’s pretty likely that it’s a four digit number, and as there are four digits chosen there, that means that there cannot be any repetition. This mean that there are:

n!/(n-4)! possible orders. As ‘n’ is 4 (number of digits available). 4!/0! which becomes 4x3x2x1/1 which simplifies to 24. That means that there are 24 possible combinations of codes. This would take you about two or three minutes to input all possible codes.
