I did indeed write a 735 word essay of The Poppy War trilogy.

(I know it's not a lot)

The poppy war trilogy trains my brain chemistry in a way that I was not prepared for. And for someone that reads books to escape reality this trilogy was very real and I know the order took some real historical things that happened and yeah.

I love and loved this world so much and I don't think I would ever experience something like that again. The constant roller coaster of emotions and getting attached to people and hoping they would return was real. As I said my brain chemistry was changed and whenever I start thinking of this book I just want to write essays which I am not very good at but something about this trilogy makes me want to write essays.

I love how holly black took the ‘brooding and mysterious love interest who is a jerk but is secretly in love with the mc” and instead of making a charismatic asshole with a six pack she made a pathetic loser boy who is drunk all the time, can’t fight, and wants nothing to do with the main plot.

Just finished the CRUEL PRINCE trilogy. and safe to say I loved it.

I read the first book back in 2021 and didn't have much of a liking to it but decided to give it another go randomly 3 days ago. And safe to say, I finished all 3 books in 3 days.

And gave the last book a 5 starts. I love Jude and I love Cardan.
