While it's true that the CBP au is quite old by now, it's still definitely one of my favourite personal projects. I still genuinely hold so much love and care in my heart for it even to this day. Every few months I'm drawn back to the spotify playlist and I get the brain worms all over again! I still have a lot of things I want to make for it.. just, a lot of drawings I still want to put out there honestly!! I've just been really busy with my social life the last year or so haha, and now that I'm done with highschool things could go in so many directions tbh!

Also no... unfortunately said fic was scrapped years ago for multiple reasons </3. THAT DOESNT MEAN I'LL NEVER WRITE A FIC FOR THE AU MIND YOU! Just means that the specific oppo ship fic i teased is uhhh probably never gonna happen, sorry!

Hey dude, I always loved your Nya art. I love Nya too. If you don't mind me asking, what made you adore her so much? That you always made art of her?

Hiii thank you!!

I’m not exactly sure when my adoration for her started but I remember when I was little and watched Ninjago, I always found Nya and her samurai x suit to be objectively cooler and more impressive than the guys’ mechs and vehicles!

I’ve always thought characters with water powers have been cool so I remember being super hyped about Nya’s water powers being revealed when posession came out!

When I revisited Ninjago again back in 2022, I binged everything in one go on my rewatch and I just really resonated with her, her whole journey of adapting and changing identity from the samurai x to being a ninja and apart of a team. And the struggles she faced throughout that.

I guess I’ve always just found her to be cooler and more impressive than the others, and I guess I always felt like her journey had bigger stakes, tougher choices which then again reflected what a strong character she is.

I guess I like her because of the fact she has always sorta been underappreciated too, as in despite of not everybody understanding her character. Mates I grew up with had Kai or Zane or Jay or Cole as their fav but never Nya, and I remember people still to this day irl don’t get why Nya is my favourite

But I guess they don’t sit down to think about how cool her storyline really is and what that means for her as a character. And I guess some people think Fire is cooler than water 🤔

Sorry this turned into an almost philosophical rant, I guess the short answer is that I have always think she has been cool and had a more interesting storyline and character aspects

So as most of you know I've been running my online store through Etsy for a while, but due to many many reasons (U.S. tariffs being one of the major ones) this has become unsustainable for me.

since the @masters-of-zinejitsu's Elements of Sentiments is out now i'm taking the freedom to post the piece i did for @greenflowerceo's awesome fic!!! I had a lot of fun working on this with Evan as always muah and the whole zine was definitely an experience!!! this is def one of my favourite greenflower pieces ive ever done and evan's greenflower is always a joy to draw!
