Kind of a personal rambling/vent + life update ?? Idk

Been thinking if I should try posting on Tumblr again or not. I don't post anymore because it feels like I can only make posts that are art, and more specifically, fanart, and I simply don't draw that anymore (or I rarely do). I know that's silly and I can do whatever I want but, idk, the account feels so intrinsically tied to fandom stuff, and nowadays fandom just makes me uncomfortable and brings me no joy.

Even if the above wasn't a thing, the whole state of the internet is plainly... ugly. Many places just feel hostile and unpleasant to be in; it's been long since I dropped the likes of Tw//tter and Inst//gram, but even in the sites I stick to, I feel an apprehension to sharing anything I make, because I know it will most likely get scrapped and stolen to feed the A//I fas//ist machinery. It's hard to try to reclaim a space to share what I create in those conditions, as it requires a level of detachment/indifference to what's going on that I can't reconcile if the intention is to be earnest...

It's been sorta complicated navigating all of this, but if nothing else, I guess I can at least give a general update?

Nowadays I'm focusing in art commissions almost exclusively, and drawing -outside of work- has taken a backseat, in favor of other more varied activities and hobbies. I'm pretty happy with this. I still create personal stuff sometimes but it remains private. I have no intention of drawing/sharing fanart regularly nor being in/interacting with fandoms again. I still enjoy a few cartoons but they don't scratch an itch on me either.

The way I feel about it, I really don't want to share any new art on the regular around here, but I think just sharing whatever random shit I'm into or doing could still be fun, so I might try to do that. Then again, I shouldn't strive to be on the internet more than I already am, lol.

Anyway, yeah, there's all that.

New commission from @marstectomy featuring Phineas and Ferb... but not as you know them. Remember when Ferb was turned evil, he took on the appearance of Darth Maul? Well now both have the Nightbrother look, with Phineas taking the appearance of Maul's brother, Savage Opress.

And because this is me and I overthink everything, I actually have story behind this:

What if instead of dying at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi after learning of Luke Skywalker, he searches for Luke... but instead finds two young boys on Tatooine, both strong in the force.

Sidetracked by this new discovery, Maul does what he seems to do best: find impressionable young Force users and try to recruit them. Phineas and Ferb, through a bunch of various circumstances, are convinced, and they train under Maul, not just in the Force, but in Nightbrother warrior culture.

Phineas and Ferb then become lethal enforces and apprentices of Maul as he reestablishes himself in his old criminal organisation, Crimson Dawn, as he goes back to scheming on how to take down the Empire. And yeah, PnF donning the Nightbrother looks is them being immersed in that culture.

So my pen problems ended up with customer service requiring me to send them back the whole tablet djdjksjvjl i'll switch to my previous tablet in the mean time but art and comm work might slow down even more becuz theres a reason i even got a new tablet in the first place

they delivered my new tablet but funnily to a different address and to a different name than mine, or whats the same, they gave it to a fuckin random and left me with no info as to which address exactly was delivered to. Called customer service and they couldnt "process" my call. Emailed and contacted in twitter, no replies. To say Im livid is an understatement.
