heyo have you ever considered tracing? (as in, drawing over an image layer in photoshop). i think it rly helps making sure the proportions and colour values are all right, esp since it kinda forces u to reconsider every colour u put down on the page. i always felt like it was a bit cheating but i started doing it for exercise and it’s really taught me a lot!! keep drawing champ:)

Mh I've never considered tracing to be honest... Personally, I think that we can improve by drawing every day, in this way your hand and your mind will train to reproduce what you see, but if you see improvements using this method why not, keep it up! And.. thank you! 💞

I guarantee you there’s someone out there that loves your gifs, loves seeing new fic from you, loves seeing new art from you, and loves reading new poetry from you. 

So the fuck what if you don’t have 5 bajillion notes? I know a lot of people lurk on tumblr, or don’t have accounts, or don’t post much, so really for every 5 notes you get, there’s at least maybe double…. triple….. quadruple that, that are reading. 

I know it’s frustrating, but keep doing your thing because there are people out there that love you and love your work. Never give up doing the things you love because you never know who’s watching that you might have an impact on. Your little blog might be the only thing that puts a smile on someone’s face.

hi! i wanna say that i love how ur experimenting with new colours now and taking risks such as purple lighting. also, you’ve been steering away a bit from the airbrush shading and going towards brush strokes which makes ur art look cooler and more unique. ur art on paper looks so good and for a while it seemed like u were struggling a bit to work out how to use digital (which i haven’t completely figured out yet tbh) but ur definitely progressing really quick! do more art i can’t wait to see it

I'm glad you noticed how I'm trying to experiment with new colors and brushes. I'm trying to get rid of the classic scheme and try my hand with brush strokes. Yeah, Digital art is difficult but I'm trying to practice a lot to improve myself.
