There’s try-hard and then there’s this. Should I thank you for uniting the fandom? Or maybe you’d like a reunion eh? Come on, admit it. You’re a Cassie inside 😏 #redistvxq #cassiopeia

As Cassiopeia I understand the proud the fans have to be in their fandons and support what identifies them as part of their fandoms.
Kpop PSA
Okay i can’t sit around anymore especially since i run Kpop ocean blogs and explain the importance of official colors.
**I am sorry if this may offend anyone, i know that not everyone in a fandom is the same, and it would be greatly appreciated if you actually read this all to understand BOTH SIDES. Neither side are to blame. (The part where i use YG family as an example and the very last paragraph is probably the best paragraphs to read if you find the rest to be bs)
The fanwar between iKONIC and Cassiopeia need to STOP. For those of you who don’t know, Cassiopeia/TVXQ’s official color has always been Pearl Red. iKON has the color red(and what many fans do not know is that iKON is only temporarily using red). There are good and bad fans in every fandom, and there are people who are in both fandoms. And let me explain the point of view of both sides so maybe fans can find a truce.
*EDIT: For the iKONIC that are wishing TVXQ/Cassiopeia to die because they are old just need to leave kpop in general. We don’t need fans who wishes death upon others(this goes for any fan)
First off, colors are really damn important, let’s get that straight cause i cannot believe people on BOTH SIDES are saying “it’s just a color” which i will say now IN KOREAN POP CULTURE it is more than a color and if you want to be a true fan of Kpop then you need to respect that. Let me explain it in this way though. In football in the USA, teams have more than one color to represent themselves and fans. I actually do Kpop presentations for high school classes, and when i explain about color i always ask this “how do you tell the difference between fans at a football game,” and more than one person will say “colors!”, so if everyone had the same color how do you tell fans apart? See, look up the sections “SMTOWN” on this blog, you see those multiple colors? If iKON and TVXQ were at the same event, for example Dream Concert (look that up too on google) you clearly see the division between fans is from the uses of an official COLOR.
Let me use YG family as an example, let’s just say since BigBang’s color is yellow(and black) what if 2NE1’s color was the same? And PSY? And WINNER? LeeHi? And iKON used the same color, how do you tell fans apart? How do you even represent yourself? If fans only wear yellow and black, how do you know if you’re a fan of BB or iKON or 2NE1? Unless there are logos or the fans chant the names, you don’t really know do you? Yellow and black would basically represent all of YG Family, so then how do you represent yourself and your fandom AND your idol? Simple, either a different color or a different SHADE. A lighter yellow? A darker yellow? So that’s the main point, iKON doesn’t have a specific shade right now, so basically any red works. There are already enough fans taking each other’s oceans and photoshopping them, claiming them as their own. We don’t need more fanwars of fans who literally can’t tell which ocean is who’s. (One Direction and Justin Bieber fans actually claim TVXQ oceans as their own too, so imagine having to deal with that already)
In Kpop, No one just has “blue” or “Green”, idols have a specific shade to represent themselves such as midnight blue, pearl sapphire blue, slow blue, nebula blue, pearl light green, lime green, pastel apple lime ETC. a really bad comparison someone made was “g.o.d fans didn’t complain when SuJu took blue so why are cassies complaining” maybe cause there is a big difference between sky blue(g.o.d) and pearl sapphire blue(suju)?
Again the problem though, it’s cause TVXQ has PEARL RED, and fans have been using that color since 2003. iKON is only using red, no specific shade and basically means any red goes, which also means “how do you tell fans apart?”. So the real solution is to try to pick a specific shade.
But iKONIC aren’t to blame, and a fact that ALL fans should know is that iKON is only using red temporarily. YG says iKON will keep changing colors. Which is one reason why some iKONIC think this isn’t a big deal because they know this information and follow iKON closely like how Cassies follow TVXQ. So go to YG and complain about this, not the fans. They weren’t the one who made the decision.
And I see so many(NOT ALL)new kpop fans (and some of them very disrespectful to senior groups aside from this whole fanwar) in the iKONIC/Cassie fandom that just don’t understand this and say “colors are not important”, maybe not to you and the genre of music you listened before, but in Korean pop culture it is soooo important to the point that having an official color means you have fans and support and it means the complete opposite if you have no color. Please understand this, please embrace this in Kpop because its part of what makes Kpop so different. If you truly think that it is not important then i can assure you that your idols disapprove. All idols love to see the day where their fans show support to them through color that represents them. To stand on a stage and truly see a colored ocean that says “this is for you and only you”.
Three big chinese fansite in China (YJLB, fannimay, beautymin) plan to make a advertisement abt #RedisTVXQ on the board in subway korea!!
YJLB is a ot5 fansite anf beautymin is a TV2XQ fansite, it means that two obstinate fandom factions in Cassiopeia that have very different pont of views joined forces for the first time since TVXQ’s split in order to protect the color that represent us as TVXQ’s (and JYJ’s) fans. This is how much the red means to us.

Thank you so much not only cassies around the world but all the other fandons as well, it means a lot and we will not forget it. Remember that it isn’t just a color, that’s our identity and pride.
