Hey, long time no writing in here!

No worries, came right in time for the end of the show. And even if it may not yet be technically the end, it’s at least the “un-end”.

It’s that time when, after everything is lost but pretending not to have touched the bottom yet, you become a walking (un)dead, a zombie, autopiloting yourself down a cliff. Like that time when you distractedly watch the movie’s credits just waiting a bit more before standing up and leaving the cinema because no one cares anymore anyway. And what is left is hollow.

Tl;dr: Inertia.

If one has to do things, they need to be done properly. 

When I decide I want to be in for the long run I don’t want to accept compromises anymore. Too old for that. 

All risks must and need to be taken. If this means that you will be turned off forever and your bulb will shut out on me completely; if it means that the small fence that was built til now will crumble down in pieces; if it means that we will end up realizing that we cannot accept each other anymore because we cannot accept the person we are; then so be it.  Instead - if risks make us stronger; if poisoning each other will result in us being vaccined against life; so be it too. 

But we must always be clear and honest with you and with myself, because it is our own duty to ourselves to want for nothing less than we deserve.

What is the country’s birth rate and receptiveness to family formation? How do people view the nuclear family? 5. Does the country have values that are multicultural and atheist or traditional and spiritual? 6. Will there be degenerate cultural forces that try to ruin the stability and happiness of my family?

People never are who you wish they were. It is such an humane thing to be disappointed when realizing how foolishly anyone thinks of someone else.

It is difficult, at the beginning, to understand that others have not gone through the same experiences as myself. But when this realization takes place, it is surely too late to change the past.

I should resign and leave, and let you live your life in peace, making all the mistakes and gaining all the experience that are required to become an integrous person. This is not something that can be learned by shouting or in a short time. It’s something apprehended the hard way.

Thanks for the times, the planes and notes, the globes and maps. Thanks for the feelings spent and all the hugs. 

Even if those words were already said before, by everyone else who eventually changed their mind, and no one knows what the future will hold, I am still thankful. And I am glad, because I know that when those words were said, they were really felt, and that everything -back then- was truly meant. 

So it doesn’t matter. Of course we all travel and go onward full of hope and good intentions. But if the storm comes, if suddenly all ends, if history is destined to repeat itself over and over again, no regret will be left, because everything that now has become part of me, of my baggage, was back then (now) true.

7. Bullshit you

Most people live bullshit lives, with bullshit jobs, dating bullshit girls, making bullshit money, because they will not take action and make some serious changes.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t live like that. I have a strong hunch you have a desire to be more, get more and leave more than most men. That’s why I’m challenging you to eliminate the bullshit from your life and rise to new heights that you never imagined you would reach before.

Eliminate. Grow. Succeed.
