I’m honestly so confused by this Ariana pride thing because I’ve never had to pay to get into pride? Like, even with big headliners and celebrities like Patti LaBelle, there was never a ticket to pay?

I’ve always had to pay.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been but none of the pride events I ever attended in Miami and around south Florida ever charged any kind of entrance fee.
I remember one year we had Patti Labelle at Miami Beach pride and she literally sat at a table saying hi to everyone, signing autographs, and handing out condoms and didn’t charge a penny. IDK, Pride isn’t some sort of trendy music festival for artists to try and make money off the gay community. It’s meant to be a safe space, especially for younger LGBTQ+ people who aren’t out or open about themselves. Charging for any kind of event sounds gross.
