Her words are met with a sheepish smile and a low, thoughtful hum. "You guys definitely don't do it all day. You do other stuff too. But the laser swords and throwing people through the air are the more interesting and more memorable parts. I especially like it when Rey takes one guy and uses him to knock down a bunch of others. It's like bowling, but more furn." Realizing he's rambling a bit, he clears his throat before continuing to speak. "And don't tease me for being a flyboy. We can't all be jedi. Besides, I'm good at going fast and shooting things. I'm all the backup you need."

Rachel would be lying to herself if she didn't at least admit he's cute. Ah -- it'll go to his head. So, she will pretend she's merely amused, nothing more. "Mmm -- and the mind control?" she once more teases. "Hey--woah. I think that flyboys are sexy." she blurts -- or is she still continuing to taunt? A bit of both. "I'll keep that in mind." Rachel pauses providing a playful gleam. "Though - a little cocky, don't ya think?"

His brows knit together curiously. How did she know that's exactly what he was thinking? When there were a million different ways they could have run into each other. He shrugged slightly, shaking off the thought. His exploits as a college student were in the open, well some of them. It shouldn't be shocking that's what she thought of too.

Ah yes, Tony nodded, "Dads can be like that." he offered, knowing how harshly Howard responded to any of Tony's antics. Tony's eyes flashed down, away from hers for just a moment as he steadied himself. It was strange, the dissonance. He loved his father, he would give anything to have his father and mother back, but the harsh reality was Howard would have never approved of the way Tony acted in the lime light. And he would have shown Tony his disapproval violently.

"I'm not much in that scene anymore so why don't we start over?" Tony extended his hand "I'm Tony, and you are...?"

Oh shit -- she'd done it again -- spoken allowed when she should've kept her trap shut. Maybe if she's extra flirtatious he won't notice? She provides a warm smile and laughs it off, nodding in agreement about his statement about their fathers.

The name game...right. Should she give him her genuine name? Or is it better to make something up? She decides to go with her middle name. "Anne." she offers, taking his hand and providing a firm, confident, shake.

Rachel pauses, genuinely considers it -- then nods in response. "Yeah--" she sighs, reminiscing on her ability to astral project and weighing what that more or less feels like. It scares everyone else generally -- but not Kitty. "Kat? Do you ever wish you were different?"

Peckish could be one way of putting it. It's not like she hasn't been WALKING IN DREAMS and finding that her research is suddenly blending too much into her waking, sleeping, life... her chest constricts, unsure of what to say, still bewildered that she's even in the same room as this woman.

She's not human. And she can tell that innately. "It's not quite a choice, is it." tongue left to slick, delicate, along her lower lip. Maybe that wasn't really the question at all, because she was no LITTLE GIRL any longer, knees together, her signature grin already fixed into place. "Can you see into me? Is that how you found me?"

Emma pauses for a long moment, gently surveying the girl with her crystal blue irises. It's as if the woman can see directly into her soul...and in many, many ways, Emma can. This is knowledge the girl seems to have, calling Emma out so it would seem. 'Can you see into me?' she asks, and Emma's brows perk with interest. An amused grin forms across her perfectly glossed lips and she smirks, tilting her head elegantly to the side. "I identified you among thousands, yes." she offers, still with a version of stoic grace. "But you are welcome to leave at any given moment." Emma offers, shifting ever so slightly in her chair, leaning closer against the table. Her eyes narrow and she beams, closed-lipped, but dimpled, and assured. You don't want to... she projects into the girl's mind, not having to open her lips to communicate it. It isn't within an attempt to manipulate, no. It's an answer -- the girl's answer. She's intrigued in her own right. Emma knows.

"Shall I place an order in for you?" She gingerly encourages with continued invite.

“No, you're not." No greeting or hug. The situation required a slightly more vigorous approach. After all, Scotty was her son. She could see through his cheap bluff attempt. This part of motherhood frustrated her. Being the bad guy who chastises him after every such incident. But someone had to do it. "We set clear rules." The tone of her voice was lower and rougher as she tried to hold back the surge of rage. "Three different high schools in the last year, just because you can't control your behavior. What the hell happened this time?" At that point, she practically snapped. "I think we've made it clear that being with your own kind will be best for you, but just because Charles agreed to let you start in the middle of the semester doesn't mean he can't kick you out of school again just as quickly, and I'm tired of to keep ironing your shit for you." Arms crossed on her chest. "So now you'll just sit here and tell me what the hell happened. 'Cause just because you're around the super kids doesn't mean you're going to keep picking fights on purpose."

His mother's snap made him recoil in his own attitude. He becomes stoic, silent, instantly hibernating in his own anguish. His lanky arms fold over his chest and he clenches his jaw. "We." He smirks after sucking on his bottom lip, his tone insanely mocking. He's only pouring lighter fluid into the ignition. -- baiting her, he's sure of it. "Like you care." he taunts further, scoffing to add judgement. "I'm around everyone who is afraid of me." he shrugs. "Not nearly as powerful as Professor Grey, but I sure as hell can manipulate a crowd...that's power." He chastises then makes way to a wicked grin. "I'll heal, I'm fine. And they probably will too. It's all just...bullshit." He's as vague as ever, and maybe that's all she will get out of him. He's being difficult on purpose. It's his Villain era -- at least that's what Xavier had predicted and Emma Frost had also conjectured... but he's not about to confess that to Pepper.
