I am.a blue and still super scared of heel hooks

I feel u, i am a black and still super scared of heel hooks. My honest advice is dont fight it back unless u r pretty sure u can manage it and tap early, u can end up with a pretty fucked knee and spend 1 years in bed if u dont. So, gubble ur ego and tap when heel hooks. The best scape is to not get in, read the opponent dont let them get it and fight once open, if it already tight, there r many scapes but in blue i dont recommend trying them but honestly most of the times, i rarely fight it and just tap when they catch it, once in a blue moon hahja

It us super impressive how u manage to do it so fast within a second, but it is normal for u u r a really good fighter. Specially with heavier guys, it looks so impressingly easy when u berimbolo a 100 kg guy. I cant even berimbolo a 50 kg one!

Yes i have many!! So look them up. Btw do u connect ur hips?? If u dont u cant bring them with u so u stay stuck in position that is a common mistake, and connect ur hips ABOVE theirs, if u dont u cant take the back u stay in half!!

I wish i did berimbolo like you, i can't get the hooks well

It took me 6 months to master the berimbolo when i was a white, so not rush it.

It is a very complex technique if u miss one step or if ur hooks arent tight, or even if u do it a litle slow (u lose momentum, the peoole can fight back) u have got nothing specially with heavy people. So, train it during drills as much as you can and ask ur higher belts and ur sensei. And look for bjj tutorial; matt arroyo is a former ufc fighter who is an amazing jiujitsu teacher on yt. Probably he has got some on berimbolos!!

Go with the flow and jiujitsu is a life style, do not pretend to master berimbolo within two days!!!
