The nice guy Jezz also had some comments to people on his post, some of which are still good advice to people freaking out on paparazzi photos and tabloid news till this day (112 weeks later).

Things are changing for Rob and Kristen. Rob’s 35 and he’s deverssifying and taking his career to another level as indicated in the about press release from the very top of Warner Brothers studio. It’s crystal clear that Warner Brothers is Rob’s home, and he’s taking his career to another level.

At 35 Rob never publicly acknowledged his birthday. He’s been MIA since he wrapped Batman. No more silly pics of Kristen acting up on instagram with her friends. They’re pretty much on their own now and apparently living “on their own”. It feels to me as though Rob and Kristen are raising the bar and it’s been in the works for a while. Good for them!

RK spent a good deal of their time in the UK with Rob doing Batman and Kristen doing Spencer. Kristen bought another home in her neighborhood. Good idea. Now she can have her family from the UK visit and help out because Rob is going to be in LA or the UK working for WB and Kristen wants to adding directing to her agenda, and I think that’s on the horizon as well, and another movie for her with none other than David Cronenberg.

Rob will be producing and maybe he’ll be produce the sequels to Batman. Apparently, he also wants to do screenwriting for Warner Brothers but I think we’ll also see him doing things he wants to do independently as well. He’ll be painting with a broad brush and doing some interesting things.The movie industry is changing, so whether it’s movies, Netflix, or TV , the Pattinson’s are changing along with it.

There’s been no announcement that RK will not be working with Dior and Chanel, so they’ll be doing it all.

The external funny stuff? Doesn’t seem as though it will fit into a productive prosperous future, but we’ll see. They don’t need it. They’ve been able achieve the level of privacy that they’ve always wanted. It only took .13 yrs. :-)

Kristen played Jean Seberg, an actress who the FBI and the media spread lies about. The media has also spread lies about Kristen Stewart so she knows all about that. She’s learned how to navigate through the BS unaffiliated with a job she loves.

Kristen is a 22 year veteran actress of the film industry at age 31. She’s smart. She knows herself. And…she knows the Hollywood game of which the tabloids are a part. She has said many times, The tabloids decide what character they are going to portray you as. Kristen and Rob found out what it would be like as a celebrity couple in the film industry. The tabloids put them through hell chasing them through five Twilight movies. The paparazzi have restraints now compare to none during 5 Twilight movies. They actually have some restrictions now but in 2008 it was an invasion of the paparazzi. Kristen and Rob struggled to keep their private life private, but the tabloid invasion made that impossible. The tabloids were always portraying them the way they wanted them to be. If they couldn’t exploit their relationship, they were going to assign a story to them them that they could exploit. After Kristen and Rob decided NOT to have their personal life a tabloid storyline ,and after a public separation. The tabloids made their own story of who they were and what they were doing. Rob was assigned to a controversial relationship with a singer, Kristen was regularly seen in her coffee walks with her girlfriends. The tabloids began speculating about Kristen’s sexuality. This continued through a progression of walks with different friends. The tabloids always intimating who the current friend was that Kristen was spending time with. They rumored (along with rabid fans who wanted Kristen with anyone but Rob, and promoted the rumor that she was gay) I remember she first addressed it early on, after tons of tabloid stories that she must be gay based on her walks with only her girlfriends, and while being constantly stalked by the paparazzi. She actually made a statement in Stir Magazine that basically said, “I’m not gay, but if I were, I’d be the first to admit it.” It was ignored and the rumors of her being gay became daily fodder. In essence, the tabloids decided how they were going to portray her and what her storyline would be. Kristen understood that early on and she has acclimated herself to that role ever since. She was always a gay advocate. I could see her saying OK…if I can be the one to add support to gay rights which are so important to me, than so be it. She began refusing to define her sexuality which is a right that everyone has. In doing so….she felt she was doing something important to further support the gay community and her friends who are gay.

Times weren’t always easier navigating a public life and a private life.

Bottom line is Rob and Kristen would never talk about their REAL private lives which has zero to do with the tabloids. The tabloids have been speculating about what “their relationship” really is for over a decade now. All the tabloids get is that their relationship is good after all these years. Kristen has teased the tabloids by supporting Rob as “The Batman”. That’s always worth a good article. The tabloids put Rob in relationships if he’s seen with one particular person more than once, and he plays that role for them because while they’re saying one thing about him, he’s doing another which is called living his private life. Rob and Kristen now choose what the tabloids are going to write based on their public persona. Privately? The tabloids have no clue because they refuse to talk about their private life. That doesn’t stop the tabloids, but the difference is that they have gained control of their private lives.

He calls the shots now.

Bill Condon witnessed Rob and Kristen’s relationship before they decided if they wanted a personal life together, it had to be PRIVATE and untouchable publicly. They figured it out and they have what they wanted. Why would they let the tabloids have privy to it now? They’re fans just want to see a happy ending. There doesn’t need to be public announcement. They’ve put enough out there for their fans to see “they’re fine” “Life is good,” They could easily write a prototype of… “How to have a private life in Hollywood”. That’s what I see as the true ending to their story. They had no role model to follow when they were going through tabloid/paparazzi terror. I see them doing that as a couple who figured out how to win in an impossible situation. Would people believe it? They might if you just happen to have living proof.

ICYMI. The photoshoot and interview they both did for The Hollywood Reporter in 2014. I love the timing of this Throw Back Thursday, The Twilight reference and THIS particular shoot. (BTW The last Twilight movie was out in 2012.)

Interesting? Robert Eggers was talking about how Robert Pattinson worked scenes while filming The Lighthouse. It reminded me of Juliette Binoche talking about how Kristen works her scenes. Juliette wanted to rehearse & Kristen didn’t in COSM. Kristen said Juliette wanted to know what her reactions were going to be and wanted to rehearse. Kristen just wanted to react instinctively. So maybe there is some scene stealing and competition between actors making a movie. I hadn’t really thought about it like that, but I can see that kind of competition may exist.

Rob worked the same with Willem in The Lighthouse. Willem loved to rehearse & wanted to know what Rob was going to do, so he could prepare his reaction. Rob resisted as much as he could. He just wanted to do it and not give away how he planned to do the scene. It’s clear Rob and Kristen work the same way, and that Kristen may have given Rob some good advice. Rob talked about how he always took notes etc. Now he says he has nothing prepared as in storyboards, etc. in preparation for a scene. He wants to do it in 1 or 2 takes. Robert Eggers said….and the next 57 takes may not be good. LOL Whatever Rob and Kristen are doing….if it’s not broke…don’t try to fix it.

This is Kristen during a monumental time in her life that most people are very, excited, and eager to share that joy with everyone. Kristen and Rob decided to conceal their joy, and keep it all private. Kristen was filming, going to film festivals and promoting her movies. Heck yes….it was painful to conceal the greatest experience a woman can have.
