I’m autistic and I love Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream and hate the texture. It is my favorite ice cream flavor in the whole world and I cringe in disgust every time I feel the texture of the frozen cherries on my tongue. I could get a smoother more homogeneous ice cream flavor but it wouldn’t taste as good. This is also a problem with multiple other Ben & Jerry’s flavors that I love. I have ordered a Cherry Garcia milkshake in the actual store location and it ruled but the sound the blender made while grinding up rock hard chunks of semi-sweet dark chocolate and gummy slushy bits of frozen cherry was like a dying pencil sharpener.
