Interesting news everyone!
Just bumped into an account in X I m not so fond of but had a major spoiler of DDS4!!!
It appears Daryl will get on a plane sometime in season 4! This actor posted the picture of him in ADR session! (Automated Dialogue Replacement as @atrumreginablue pointed out)
Finally some news!!!
Ok fellow TDer's we have a new location for Daryl Dixon S4! Cartagena, Spain!
Cartagena is a historic Mediterranean port city in southeastern Spain, known for its deep natural harbor and strategic importance since antiquity. Today, it remains a key maritime center, hosting one of Spain’s principal naval bases, which plays a central role in the operations of the Spanish Navy. Alongside its modern military significance, Cartagena preserves a rich cultural heritage, with notable Roman remains, vibrant festivals, and a strong connection to its seafaring past.
All thanks to ward_tt of course!!! He posted a photo of him in military clothes (dated November 14th) with the caption "work" and what appears to be an other pic from an airport! (dated December 12th)!
Also we now havs the writers for Daryl Dixon S4, for all 8 episodes!
Sooooo excited!!! @twdmusicboxmystery @galadrieljones @xxx-theartofsuicide-xxx @atrumreginablue please share your thoughts or any other info!

Soooooo, according to Julianrecords EK is cooking something hot with the name... "Proof of life"!
Don't know about you but my TD antennas are up and focused! So excited!
Hi!!!
Okay so many exciting things happening! Honestly have to pinch myself with we will be getting our girl back.
Emily being back on set is honestly so iconic!! This franchise needs that familiarity of the Golden Era to bring us back!! Beth was in that golden era of team family!! 💗☺️
Praying she is back for good and what everyone thinks will be an AU in Maggie’s mind will because a reality when they actually Find Beth ALIVE!!
I was just curious your take on a complete hypothetical of course haha but if Maggie were to find Beth alive (which we know she will 🤓🤪) but if she were to find Beth alive and Beth with a partner and children… I’m just wondering how that would play out? If Beth had found someone had a little family then bam Beth is reunited with Maggie who tells her Daryl is still with their group.
Just wondering how you think that scenario would play out. The odds maybe being good that Beth could have had a baby or “babies” with someone else. Wondering if that wound make for a rekindling with layered emotions of her wanting to be with Daryl but still having obligations to her own family….
How do you think that would play out? What do you think the odds are that Beth would have a spouse and children when Maggie finds her? How do you think Daryl would react? 🥹🤣
Kind of a gut punch maybe? Haha sorry these are super random maybe hard to answer but I’m just to excited to see our girl again! Love your channel as always love all the positive content you put into the world! Thank youuu

Thank you so much for your DM!
I was pretty sure the ask was addressed to @twdmusicboxmystery (I’m tagging her so she’ll be able to see your ask either way - she’s the holy grail of TD analysis), but I just wanted to be sure🤣. Either way, of course I’m more than delighted to share some thoughts, because this is such an interesting topic! 😊
I’m honestly still trying to process the fact that Emily is back on set because it still feels surreal after all these years.
As for your question, I do actually think there are certain parts of the plot that could support the possibility of Beth having had a child, but maybe not necessarily a long-term partner or a stable family unit.
One thing that has always stood out to me is back in Season 3 when Beth tells Carol that she always wanted to have children of her own. That feels very intentional because it is such a specific dream for the writers to give her. She is also constantly surrounded by children throughout the show. In the midseason finale of Season 4, she stays behind with Daryl instead of getting on the bus because she goes looking for the children first to make sure they are safe. That protective, maternal instinct has always been there with her.
Then in Season 4, there is that scene with Beth, Michonne, and Judith where Beth sings to Judith and says there is no word for a parent who loses a child. That line always felt important to me, especially because in the DD spinoff we hear a very similar line repeated again about there being no word for a parent who loses a child. It makes me wonder if that could be some kind of narrative clue that Beth may eventually have a child she loses, either through death or separation.
What makes me less convinced about a spouse or long-term romantic partner is that the show has repeatedly framed Beth’s relationships in a way that circles back to Daryl. In Season 4, we are introduced to Zack as Beth’s boyfriend, but he dies almost immediately. Then in the very next episode, Daryl ends up with Zack’s car. Symbolically, that always felt meaningful to me: something that belonged to Zack is now Daryl’s. You could even argue the same thing happens with Beth. She was Zack’s girlfriend, but after his death, Beth and Daryl become much closer emotionally.
You can even connect the symbolism further because Zack’s car eventually gets stuck in the walker horde, and Daryl and the others are forced to leave it behind. TD has always believed Beth may have been lost in a very similar way: left behind in a car trunk because of a massive walker horde, possibly the same “800 walkers” Greg Nicotero mentioned. If that theory is true, then the car symbolism becomes even stronger because both Zack’s car and Beth would have been temporarily abandoned, but not necessarily gone forever.
Another thing that really stood out to me was the El Alcázar / La Ofrenda sequence in Season 3 of the DD spinoff. If you remember, Daryl enters El Alcázar wearing a mask, and we see women being offered to men, all dressed in different colors. The girls in yellow and pink are the ones who are not chosen. That immediately made me think of the music box because of the yellow and pink colors. Since the music box is tied to Beth, then maybe the symbolism is that she was not “picked” or chosen by a man as a husband or long term spouse, maybe because of her scars, trauma, or feeling damaged or overlooked after everything she went through.
So, personally, I think there is a decent chance she could have had a child or children (possibly not biologically hers) because so much time has passed and motherhood has always been part of her story. But I am less convinced that she would have a husband or a perfect family situation. I think it would be more tragic and layered than that. If Daryl came back into her life after all those years, I think there would still be a very strong emotional connection there, but also a lot of pain over everything they lost.
I hope this answer made sense! I was really happy to share my thoughts because this is such an interesting topic to think about, and there are so many little details and parallels to consider...
I really can’t wait to see how all of this will play out!!! 💗

St. Ignatius Symbolism: Why Beth’s CODA marks a beginning rather than the end!
I’ve been thinking a lot about the St. Ignatius reference in Slabtown, especially after @twdmusicboxmystery's new video, and the more I look at it, the more connections I see, especially because we take it as a given fact that Beth survived her headshot wound at Grady.
Both St. Ignatius of Loyola and Beth go through a serious injury that completely changes their lives. For Loyola, that wound became the turning point that redirected his entire path and ultimately gave him a new sense of purpose. In the same way, Beth’s “death” can be understood not as a definitive ending, but as a threshold moment, one that interrupts her original trajectory and potentially sets her on a completely different path moving forward.
From that perspective, her “death” at Grady functions less like a conclusion and more like a divergence point. It separates her from the group and from the narrative path of TF, marking a transition into a new phase of existence shaped by survival, adaptation, and possible reinvention. In that sense, the injury itself becomes the catalyst for transformation, aligning closely with the St. Ignatius motif of a wound leading to a redefined identity and purpose.
From there, there is a clear picking point in her development arc. She starts off more emotional and vulnerable, but grows, even more stronger and more aware. After surviving something like that, it’s logical that she would become more structured and part of something bigger, possibly even connected to a military system like the CRM.
It's been a long time (after NR's photos he posted last November with the odd haircut) that I have a headcanon of Beth as a military doctor (I'd like to think that when Daryl gets hurt, they take him to this military hospital, and Beth is the one treating him. He might be sedated or recovering from anesthesia, so he might believe that she’s just a hallucination) and honestly this fits so well in my head... It connects her transformation with both her personality and the hospital setting we saw in Grady...
This also ties into St. Ignatius of Antioch and the idea of Christ as a “physician.” Hospitals are meant to represent healing, but in Slabtown we see the opposite. The system is corrupted, and doctors/cops decide who lives and who dies, effectively “playing God.” As a result, the focus shifts away from care and healing and becomes centered on control, hierarchy, and selective survival.
This is where the St. Ignatius symbolism becomes relevant again. If, in Christian tradition, the “physician” represents healing that is both physical and moral, then Slabtown presents a distorted version of that idea, one where authority replaces compassion, and survival is regulated rather than granted.
Here's where Beth’s role becomes more meaningful. Her “death” is framed in a way that resembles sacrifice, but it lacks the typical elements of closure that would confirm it as a final, resolved endpoint. There is no burial, no sustained emotional aftermath, and no clear narrative closure. This absence leaves room for interpretation and suggests that the moment may function more as a transition than a conclusion.
If we follow that symbolic line, Beth can be seen as moving away from the corrupted model of the hospital and toward the original meaning of the “physician” archetype, someone who restores rather than controls. In that sense, her transformation would represent a shift from being subject to a broken system to potentially becoming part of a more structured and purposeful one, where healing is aligned with discipline, responsibility, and intent.
On the other hand, this could also be interpreted as foreshadowing a new, possibly more subtle form of a corrupted system, one she may have encountered after leaving Grady. A system that, at first glance, presents itself as organized, functional, and oriented toward helping people, but which may conceal underlying control mechanisms, similar in concept to PADRE in Fear the Walking Dead or the CRM.
This idea is further reinforced by details like the fact that in episode 9x05, where Rick experiences hallucinations, Beth’s name is never explicitly mentioned. Instead, we hear EK’s voice but the subtitles refer to it generically as “woman”, which leaves her identity ambiguous. One possible interpretation is that this could hint at her having adopted a new identity, similar to how groups like PADRE or the CRM assign or replace identities as part of their systems, rather than maintaining original ones.
So if we follow that idea, Beth’s story doesn’t end there. She becomes the opposite of what we saw in that hospital, a true “physician,” someone who restores meaning to healing. In that sense, her survival isn’t just physical, it’s symbolic: a wound leads to transformation which leads to a new purpose.
In conclusion, both St. Ignatius figures, Loyola and Antioch, symbolically support this interpretation. Loyola’s experience reflects the idea that a severe wound can act as a turning point, leading to transformation, renewed purpose, and a redefined identity. Antioch’s writings, particularly the metaphor of Christ as a “physician,” reinforce the connection between healing, faith, and the restoration of both body and meaning.
Together, these references frame Beth’s injury not as a definitive endpoint, but as a symbolic rupture that enables transformation. Her “death” can therefore be read through the same lens: a moment of transition that aligns with themes of suffering, redefinition, and purpose-driven identity. Within this framework, the symbolism of St. Ignatius helps unify the idea that a wound, physical or narrative, can mark the beginning of a new trajectory rather than the conclusion of one.
I can't stop laughing..... That's amazing!!!!!!
P.s. NR liked and shared it too...

It's getting crazy folks. Tons of hints are being given! It's an exciting time to be a Beth fan! 😎
Two of the photos in this post really stood out to me. In the first one, we see Daryl with Rick, and Daryl isn’t wearing his angel wings vest. When did that happen? I revisited the episode this morning, and there’s no way this is a frame from any of the scenes that aired in Coda.
Also, in the next photo, we see the two cops who were leading Rick and the others into Grady standing on Dawn’s side and holding guns. But the guns were supposed to be hidden—Dawn specifically asked them to keep them concealed. The only time they pull their guns is when Dawn is shot by Daryl.
If this isn’t suspicious, then what is, TD?
Emily posting this Beth mini figure waking up at Grady… is she trying to tell us something? 👀 It makes me wonder if she might be filming again...♥️
I even read some rumors on Undead Walking about a possible new spinoff, and now this little tease has my brain going into full theory mode. Seems that Beth is somehow part of the story again and I m sure that a lot of us would be beyond excited to see that. 🙏
"Sup????"
