A Girl Like Her

An Anti-Bullying movie begins with Jessica Burns overdosing on a bunch of prescription medication, landing into a coma. A documentary crew goes to her high school and interviews students and faculty. Some names are thrown around, one in particular: Avery Keller. The crew sort of tricks Avery into letting them make a mock-doc of her life. Later, Jessica’s friend, Brian opens up and tells the crew he has footage of Avery harassing Jessica. Once the school’s sweetheart finds out she REALLY is the reason Jessica chose to  take her life she makes her next video diary as an apology to Jessica.

Diary Of A Haunting

Spoiled rich girl from L.A. Moves to Idaho with mom and younger brother after her parents split up because of a Hollywood love affair that made T.M.Z. Headlines. It's literally a diary of how lame Idaho is and how she can't find her place in this world. Chick Lit mixed with Horror.

Eventually it gets a little interesting, because Paige's brother, Logan starts having seizures and a neighbor tells her what's really going on with the house. Eventually something changes in Paige and she turns into a psychopath. I didn't read the full thing, honestly, because the ending was spoiled for me. It's supposedly based on true events, but gives you a Paranormal Activity fake feel to it. I'm not even a supernatural skeptic. I know there's things out there, but this just doesn't do it for me, plus there's a sequel supposedly coming out. Come on. The author is clearly doing it for publicity!

Atlantia

By Ally Condie, author of Matched series.

Rio and her sister, Bay have to choose their fates living Above the sea or Below the sea in Atlantia. Rio has dreamed about this day since she can remember, but current events make her stay as her sister Bay shockingly chooses the Above lifestyle. Rio tries to figure out why her sister leaves her all alone, no family at all. I wish Condie would have given us MORE of a back story on the girl's personalities, besides just saying “one went Above, the other went Below despite their opinions on the issue before the big day.” I say that, because Bay supposedly loved Atlantia. Why would she leave?

After the big day, her aunt finds Rio and offers to help her go Above as well as help her develop and accept her powers as a Siren, a secret her mother kept from the world. Rio is hesitant, because she thinks her aunt Maire is a Sea Witch and killed her mother.

Rio begins a job to avoid Maire and to save up for a tank of air that will get her Above. An antagonist is intruduced, Bien, she asks several questions pertaining to Rio's mother and how she died. She also accuses Maire of murdering her. Although for now Bien's role is small, I hope we get to see her more. :D With Maire being accused for murdering Oceana so frequently, I'm starting to think she really isn't the killer. Authors like to give false hope to their readers, but I will continue reading to find out the truth. Bien also takes all of her personal anger out on Sirens such as Rio and Maire because of an abusive situation she was forced into in the past. I understand Bien's pain, which is probably why so far she is my favorite character.

Something I noticed, the people that live underwater aren't what you expect. They're humans that can live underwater with the help of air masks. Why don't they just go Above? Who knows... It's a very unique read, like nothing I've read before, but I may not want to read something like this again. It's not bad, just not my taste.

When you think things can't get any worse for Rio, she finally gets Above and finds Bay, unfortunately Above is an awful place and the humans want to kill everyone from Below. It's a very rushed novel that doesn't peak interest. I mainly skim read. But it has a happy ending where everyone was reunited and the bad guy fails.

The Extroridnary Case Of Emma Bauer

I know I've been saying I'm going to start reviewing actual books, but nothing is interesting enough anymore. Everything's overdone. So, until I find something actually worth reading, I'll be posting Post-Worthy Wattpad Stories.

Main character, Emily (Emma) becomes institutionalized after tragedy strikes her family. Doctor Gallagher is her therapist and talks with her. One patient randomly snaps at her and calls her a witch. There is something off about Emma, but is she a witch? She seems like a sweet little girl, until one day after talking with Doctor Jensen something changes in her mood and she becomes a snippy little hell-raiser. It's said she has Bi-Polar Disorder, but anyone who actually knows ANYTHING about how people with such disorder act, know perfectly well they are just like anyone else. This has overall been a good read, but two of my best friends are Bi-Polar so that sort of hit home for me, but I kept reading anyway. (I plan on writing a story myself showing people with Bi-Polar disorder as the GOOD GUYS!) Anyway, back to the review.

Doctor Jensen ends up wanting to adopt her, although that is against the law considering she is both a patient and is legally an adult. For some reason Doctor Gallagher becomes jealous and investigates Emma and Jensen's relationship as well as Emma's hometown, Moorhall. Gallagher finds out some dark things about the town and ends up being banned from ever going back. When he returns, he has to deliver some unfortunate news to Emma and she gets furious-not because of what happened but because he even went on such a trip.

Eventually everything comes together at the end of the book, as it should. Towards the end it gets a little slow until the final chapter. The twists and turns will have you thinking about the plot for weeks! Amazing!

Save Me

A Wattpad Story. Sequel to Find me, second novel in Betrayal series. Melanie is kidnapped by the man who murdered her entire family and best friend. She tries escaping a few times but he finds her every time. Her friend Xavier's sister also becomes victim to the kidnapping but successfully escapes and Melanie gets another "visitor". Leaves on a crappy cliffhanger ending, that kind of makes you want to read the final book, but at the same time you get sick of the repetitiveness. Best Adult Christmas Movie Ever!!!!

The Night Before will have you rolling on the floor laughing and feeling like you're on everything Issac (Seth Rogen) is on. This is the best stoner movie I have ever seen! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD/available to download! I haven't seen a movie this hilarious since Bad Johnson. I'm not even going to give you a synopsis. Just go see it! You won't regret it! 5 stars!

Help!

Hey guys, the books I've attempted at reading just don't have that Pull anymore. They're dull. Any recommendations? I want to give my followers great reviews but so far Wattpad stories are kicking published works ass in the Pull field. Have a favorite book? Drop it in the comments.
