What is the DRRR!! Bulletin Exchange?
The DRRR!! Bulletin Exchange is a general, low-commitment Durarara!! fanworks exchange event! There are 2 phases of the event: bulletin posting, and gift creation.
The first phase of the event is bulletin posting, where participants write a wishlist containing prompts for fanworks they're looking for. Moderators will ensure every bulletin posting has at least one gift created for it!
The second phase of the event is gift creation! Bulletin postings will be available publicly, and anyone can make gifts based on any prompt! Gifts can be drawings, fics, moodboards, playlists, gifsets, or anything else your gifter can think of.
You can choose to participate in only bulletin posting or gift creation, or you can do both!

Bulletin postings will be made on this Padlet. Please follow the template pinned there.
You can create your own posting by clicking the "+ Post" button at the bottom right corner.
You do not need to create a Padlet account to make a post, but keep in mind that you will have to contact a moderator in order to modify your bulletin posting after you have posted. Make sure you've covered all your bases!
What can I write on my bulletin posting?
You can write anything! I want this to be an event where you receive fanworks you have always wanted.
That being said, if your posting contains prompts which make gifters uncomfortable, you may not receive a gift of that prompt. Please don't be too disappointed.
NSFW will be allowed in this event, but please make sure at least 3 of your prompts are SFW. If you are a minor, please do not request or fulfill NSFW wishes.
This event is aimed at the general Durarara!! fandom. Ships are allowed, but in consideration of the Shizaya fandom, which regularly hosts its own fandom events, we request that at least 3 prompts not to be Shizaya-related.
You may wish for yumeships, original characters, or specific AUs, but please provide visual or written references if applicable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to keep my gift a secret from the bulletin poster until the posting period?
Not at all. If you would like to reach out to the bulletin poster to make sure they are okay with aspects of your gift, go ahead! Sharing works in progress is allowed, but please finish all works in progress shared.
What if someone else has already fulfilled the prompt I want to fulfill?
That's okay! Then the bulletin poster will receive two gifts! How wonderful!
I'm going to be too busy to make any gifts. Are you sure it's okay to wish for things, even if I won't be able to give anything in return?
Yes! The moderator team is dedicated to making sure everyone gets a little gift! We hope this is an opportunity for people to show their appreciation for everyone still kicking in this fandom, even if you're a lurker!
What if I've spontaneously become a monk and eradicated all earthly desires? Can I still make gifts?
Also yes! Sometimes there is nothing in particular you want but you still want to gift things. That is okay too!! We welcome your contribution!

Shizuo's a saint. That man has patience. He knows his strength. He fears his strength. He fears he might hurt someone for real. So he holds back at all times.
Even with Izaya.
Especially with Izaya.
Because all of their fights are started by Izaya.
That knife of his is their green light.
No matter if Shizuo goes to Izaya. He will start their verbal battle, the accusation, the questioning but he won't throw the punch until Izaya escalates it in some way, shape or form.
Shizuo will not break down Izaya's door but he will push the doorbell until his finger bleeds and he will listen to Izaya's taunts until he is sure this is the final moment they've been waiting for and he says his goodbye because that's what Izaya wants.
He wasn't always like this, of course, he was more reactive when he was younger, quicker to chase Izaya, quicker to throw the first punch.
He learnt the game as the years passed.
I love to think about their patterns like this.
Izaya has more of a leash on Shizuo's temper than Shizuo has anything on Izaya. I guess Izaya's fear of Shizuo is really just living in his head rent free. That's something to think about.

i understand the take but also like… no? every fight is started by izaya is one of the craziest things i’ve read i think because it’s just blatantly untrue… both of them are flawed in their own ways and i don’t think either one of them is necessarily better or worse than the other. they complement each other, which is why shizaya works in the first place, not because shizuo is an “saint” and izaya is a “demon”. they’re two sides of the same coin in a twisted way, because durarara is a story of twisted love after all!
they taunt each other. shizuo is insanely impulsive and violent while izaya is smart enough to use that to his advantage when need be. neither is better or worse. izaya tries to frame shizuo for crimes to get him out of the way, but shizuo is a saint until he has izaya on the brink of death at the end of x2? nah. i don’t think so.
idk, i just know some oomfs have shared their opinions on this and got comments deleted over it which is quite silly and i think it would be really nice to have a civil conversation over this. but what do i know? i’m just the resident mikida shipper :P
