i find it pretty cool that even in canon, eiji, the former athlete and has insecurities about losing his previous strength, encourages such a healthy relationship with food when he's with ash, even when ash sometimes let's the disordered thoughts slip out; thoughts that eiji never affirms or shames ash for, which i love. so the idea of him truly loving a recovered chubby ash, not in spite of his body but holistically, and taking care of him makes me happy and you wrote it so well 💜 eiji's love is so gentle, even subtle moments like loosening ash's grip on his own body. your portrayal of that kind of recovered person is something i relate to a lot so thank you for capturing it well. i now need an eiji even more

Ack I fear I'm not the best resource for this, I tend to skip over fics where Ash dies or has died. I think out of all my bfish writing I've only got one drabble in that category oops 😭 I'll open this one up to the community as well, does anyone have fic recs for anon?

i need to find this banana fish fic, eiji comes to america as a child i think its because of pole vaulting and that’s where he gets kidnapped and sent to one of dino’s places with other children, that’s where he meets ash, he finally escapes a few years later, idk if it was deleted or something but i can’t seem to find it, thanks
