On harmony within. How often do you catch those magic moments when you feel that you are in the right place on earth, with the very people you love and feel at home with, happy with yourself doing what you love, not wasting time. As much as I'd like to think otherwise, I find inner harmony a real challenge. However, in the past five years I discovered running and it has since become my go to solution for unhappy thoughts, my own time out when stress is on the high. Running, on a sober note has given me alot. For one- it has given me new, beautiful people in my life. There is a global network of runners who for some years now have been meeting in different cities around the world, eating partying, running the race together, making connections, making the world a smaller place. They call it #bridgethegap and it's a great concept. If you know the hosting crew, essentially, if you're a runner- you could find yourself welcome in any part of the world. Two years ago @nbrorunning were hosting the #cph half marathon and I accepted a very kind invitation of dear @cwschnohr to come and stay with her and her kids, run the race and generally feel great. Her hospitality and the experience of the race, the new people I met, overcoming pain in both my knees to finish strong, for this opportunity to be alone in another city without my kids, I felt incredibly grateful. So when the opportunity arose to draw a calendar filled with mini resolutions to find for 2017 with the wonderful @sirincopenhagen who are based in Copenhagen, I proposed to dedicate my running resolution to @nbrorunning.
