Pokemon-Style Color Labels (Abbreviated)

Little Pokemon-type-style color labels for your bios, sales posts, and more! This sheet is in the original 1-to-1 pixel scale, so you'll likely need to upscale it to actually make use of it. (Use Nearest Neighbor, not any other upscaling methods. Trust me.)

I will be posting individually-cropped labels over the next several days, either in 2x or 4x upscale depending on the results of this poll, which should be a bit more convenient to use for those looking to add them to bios without wanting to use an image editor.

No credit needed (especially for something based off of something someone else made, like from a videoed game), but always appreciated so other people can find it if they'd like!

If you like these or end up using them, I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at my AH tab as well as my friend's and see if there's anyone you'd like to take home! I love making things for people to use, but it does cut into my actual 'do things on FR' time.

Finished a few more dragon outfits so that's one page from the HibDen down. Just 100+ more dragons to go! Feat my progens, their kid, and high priest Avatar (not actually in that order).

Started the long overdue process of redressing everyone in my lair after cleaning it out. So many apparel pieces I've barely ever looked at... Anyway here's the first two, which was all that I got done today, Auhir and Apeiron, the clan deities. Despite their fire-and-ice appearances, neither are elemental in nature. Their official titles are Auhir, deity of the Infinite, and Apeiron, deity of the Ever-Changing. Unofficially, they represent death (Auhir, in red) and life (Apeiron, in blue).

Of course, the clan-dragons only know of Auhir, and have are under the impression they represent (eternal) life. Just a little off!

Now that's a lot of guys. One too many for a nice lineup, even.

Final batch, now I'm all caught-up! Tweaked the Sandsurge a little (made spines thinner and made eyebrows spikier), did the all-new Cirrus, and made a brand new Obelisk base... and then realized M-pose and F-pose Obbies have different manes so I had to split it into two separates. I like these much better!

Ended up tweaking the feathers on the male Auroboa (to emphasize the second row of feathers being longer) and tweaked the cheeks of the Fathom a little. Also knocked out two more bases: the Dusthide and Everlux. That just leaves the Cirrus and then I'm all caught up.

#dark art #the Everlux horn looks kinda funky but it's just. a thin plane seen from the front.#anyway i'm also planning on tweaking the Sandsurge i did ages ago a little #and completely redoing the Obelisk base. again. third time's the charm right?#the Everlux tendrils are a little rough because i can't draw long lines anymore. need to do tiny bits. which makes fluid curves very hard

It's been a while (a long while) but I finally started chipping away at some adopt bases again. I did the Auroboas before but I wasn't really happy with them and needed to redo their lines anyway because I used the wrong line thickness, so I tweaked a few things while I was at it. The Fathom is all-new and probably is going to receive some tweaking in the future as I stare at it longer (definitely need to tweak the color line where the ear meets the head).

Festival Skin Entries by Year

Me and my friends who regularly enter festival contests have felt for the past few years that the number of entries per contest have dropped. Today we finally decided to compile every single festival submission thread since 2013 and see if that's true! This was pretty interesting, so we wanted to make a quick post to share the results. You can find the spreadsheet here.

*Note that 2013 only had 6 festivals contests, and we are only 3 contests into 2025.

2015 had the highest amount of total entries that year.

Arcane 2015 holds the highest non-2013 record of entries at 45 pages.

The flights with the highest number of entry pages total is Arcane at 285, Light with 280

The lowest pagecount total is not actually Earth but Wind with 178 pages!

The total number of entries per festival has definitely been in drastic decline since 2015. What's the reason for this?

Contest prize went up to 1.5kg for Plague 2014, then to 2kg for Light 2019.

Fest entry slots scaled these fests: Light 2013 - 6 slots Fire 2013 - 8 slots (+2) Plague 2013 - 10 slots (+2) Fire 2014 - 12 slots (+2) Fire 2015 - 14 slots (+2) Light 2023 - 16 slots (+2) Light 2024 - 20 slots (+4 - 2 permababy 2 general)

Light and Fire in 2013 did not have separate submission and discussion threads. We filtered the pages into those that contained an img and those that did not.

2023 Rockbreakers is an outlier. Entry pages are unusually high for that year (29 pages) because we ran a 500g giveaway to enter the contest.

...although, 29 pages would've been the norm in 2015-2016!

Pretty interesting data!

My own thoughts:

The observation that started this off was that Nature remained consistently high in entries over the past 4 yrs while every other flight seemed to decline. This is still true! Nature is the only flight that remains able to break the 20 page barrier!

Why has the userbase doubled, but festival submissions grow fewer and fewer each year?

What was going on in 2016?
