[ Hiatus ]

I sign on to find three new followers. Sorry to disappoint you all, but I've decided to put Lucina on a hiatus for now.

To be frank, I've completely lost my muse for her. Compound that with the sheer amount of time that I don't have... which means I'll have to put some of my RP characters on hiatus.

I'm still running my Marth, if you wish to talk to me. ;; I will be back on Lucina... I just don't know when.

“Oh yes. Wyvern’s are a species of the dragon family, but perhaps, a weaker line.” Her hands ran down the Wyvern’s muzzle gently. Minerva returned with a soft chortle of content. “They don’t contain as much magic either…but just enough to sustain a dragon blood line.” She smiled.

“If you wish to know dear Minerva any better, and perhaps ride her one day, you are going to have to earn her trust one way or another.” Cherche stepped back, allowing the Wyvern to settle her full gaze over the female human.

Lucina nodded. What Cherche said tallied with the texts in Mother's library.

Hmmm. While Mother had some luck with taming wyverns, she was not sure if it would apply to her. Best to give it an attempt.

"I see. Well, could you advise me on the best way to go about doing that?"

The absence of hostility from the other relented her movements, but a small bit of caution remained. A final scan through her surroundings was made before returning the other Lucina’s gaze, brows furrowed in question.

“…What are you suggesting?” Aversion held back, she spoke out with an injured tone of suspicion. She couldn’t possibly be suggesting to throw away her entire existence even if the cause was a product of her own mistake, could she? Perhaps it was only justified, but… “Even if it were possible to return, the future we’ve come from may no longer exist, as Naga has stated herself. There may be no land to return to at this point.”

Oh. It appeared that she had not made her point clear enough.

Lucina sighed. "I did not mean returning to your - our original timeline. I meant returning to the time you intended to travel." She frowned, trying to put her thoughts into words. "It appears to me as if you made the jump, but landed in another timeline - a timeline in which another version of you already exists."

Did that make enough sense.

"If you still require more proof of my identity, then name it. I will provide what you ask."

It still felt strange to be reassuring herself.

“You don’t have to ask for forgiveness.” Cherche reassured with a grin. “I’d be more than happy to teach you about Wyverns.” Minerva growled softly, making it sound like a soft purr. “Hm…where to begin…” She tapped her chin thoughtfully.

Lucina smiled. So this wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

"Ah, I've read somewhere in Mother's books that wyverns diverged from true dragons a long time ago, but it still seems to me that wyverns retain personality traits. I was wondering if I could get to know Minerva a bit more."

And maybe ride her someday?

Just coming in for a landing, Cherche slid off the back of the wyvern, rubbing her forelegs in both thanks and apologies. Seeing as someone had approached, she gave a warm smile. “Oh, hello Lucina. Is there something you need?”

Minerva landed gracefully on a nearby field. The wyvern folded its wings neatly as her rider dismounted. Lucina had made a mental note to ask Cherche something, but it took a few days to find her. They had always missed each other, somehow.

“Oh, hello Lucina. Is there something you need?”

Lucina nodded, returning Cherche's smile. "Ah, forgive me for making such a sudden request, but... could you perhaps teach me more about wyverns?"

While she was not trained to be a rider, she was still curious about such creatures.
