She keeps smiling, even as she pulls away from his personal space. “Don't worry,” the good woman says. “I'll share my secrets with you.” Despite pulling from his personal space, Brughel shifted in her seat, to be a bit closer to Skott. Once she was just a hair away from touching his arm, she listened intently. Her emerald eyes watched as he downed the wine for some encouragement. But her mind was working.
If he was a betting man, he'd bet it was related to the Phantasmoon Games. As far as Sampo was concerned, the IPC should stick their noses out of it. The games became a joke of what they used to be. And not to mention deadly. But dearest, kindest Brughel merely smiled, leaning in again so Skott could feel her bosom touch his arm.
“Wow! You're quite amazing!” She praised with a gentle clap of her hands. “I wish you success in your endeavors, even if you're quite a meanie!” Just to make him riled up again, she pouts at him rather cutely. Like a kid being told no. Hard to hate but easy to adore.
It does, however, allow the gentlelady to segue into her own story. “Brughel Poisson, freelance journalist and part time journalist for The Crystal Daily. As for Planarcadia… you could say I have a bit of an inside scoop, it's my old stomping grounds.” Not a true but not exactly a lie either. It was the mecca for all Fools, Elation seekers and more. For the thief it was a complicated mess of emotions for this planet.
“I love it,” Brughel lied ever so sweetly. A dainty hand comes up, covering her mouth to speak this only to her drinking companion, “Despite the gloomy name, Gothum City has the best noodles. But don't tell them that, they prefer to be known as the best pizza spot.”
Being rather close, warmth is easily felt. Not just their shared space but also just how warm Brughel felt. Like she was a walking furnace. A soft, walkable furnace if that was even possible. Yet she was cool as a cucumber, keeping things light and merry for their chance encounter. “Now,” she said, tapping her cheek with her index finger. It was obvious she was pretending to be in deep thought but it was hard to not be drawn into it.
“If you have to go to a tourist area, Seafeld City is a nice place for their beach town. I'd personally skip both and head to the Tavern. A joke and a drink among friends always makes me happy, but that's just one humble journalist’s opinion.” Once again tilts her head cutely, letting her flowing hair move to the side and showing off her soft smile. “I can even get you inside if you need help, I got a friend in there.”
