I got Baldur's Gate 3 for Astarion, and now I'm hooked.
I literally bought baldurs gate because I saw a YouTube clip of a sassy elf man yelling about having a building being dropped on him. I had no idea who he was or what the context was about, but that scene just killed me so I had to buy the game.
Turns out that elf doesn't like me much.
real talk, i suck at bg3 and play on the easy difficulty.. if any of you guys have some pointers how to build up Astarion (and others) i’d love to hear your tips!
I also play on easy, but in my dark urge playthrough I received a cape called desthstalker mantle (or something) early in act 1. It makes the wearer turn invisible after any successful kill. I put this on astarion and he basically soloed the whole goblin camp while the rest of my party ate dirt. Since the sneak attack does so much damage he was basically one-shotting everyone while resetting his invisibility indefinitely.
Unfortunately it seems to only be available if playing dark urge.
Genuinely don't know why this game bothers giving me keys when it already gave me Astarion.
Do you ever think about how Astarion has no idea that his eyes aren't the same glowing red that the other spawn have unless someone tells him?
Cause I think about that a lot.
