Backstory n' stuff: Nancy, a long with many other mutants as of her universes fall of Krakoa (don’t worry it came back), was a result of Hank McCoy cloning a bunch of his teammates and put into the foster system, in Nancy's case it was Remy LeBeau and Kwannon (aka Psylocke). Nancy suffered at the hands of her foster family, the Levesque’s, until she got kidnapped by the nanny and orphan maker, and subsequently turned into an orphan. The reason why she was kidnapped? She had gambits eyes from birth, and due to stress, she got her powers earlier at the age of eight instead of eleven through seventeen like most mutants. She now lives at the X-mansion with her family and friends for safety.
Mutant ability: With Nancy’s rewrite (not backstory don’t worry), she gets powers personalized to her. First off, Her mind control is ACTUAL HYSTERIA, triggering something in her opponent’s head and ripping it out of them and forcing it onto other’s with it coming out of nowhere for her victims but all to common to the sufferer. Second, She now has a sonic scream coming from her sonic sight, if you don’t know, Nancy is half blind but doesn’t want glasses so she forces herself to see through physical instead of vocal echolocation. And lastly, puppeteering, she can basically turn people into zombies (how she looks like now) through cuttlefish like manipulation with chromatophores and changing color rapidly, she does it with her eyes so it won’t be noticeable in public.
