Hello there,
I have two questions (one is optional)
What is your opinion of Kevin Wettsworth from Hunter the Parenting?
You can ignore this question if you like, but do you watch Death Battle (the channel about simulating 2 characters from media, like DC and Marvel, for example, and pitting them in a fight to the death with the lastest episode of Shigaraki from My Hero Academia and Mahito from Jujustu Kaisen (I wont spoil this if you didn't watch death battle)) and if so what your opinion on this?
It's cool! I actually really like Kevin. Despite being English, he's got the spirit of American rebellion in him.
And I feel pretty bad for the dude. He was just a normal guy until he was converted.
I watch Death Battle on occasion & I actually quite enjoy it normally. I just wish that they were able to keep them in-character. Like, a bunch of the episodes, everything feels about right as far as character powers & capability. However, the thing I tend to have issue with is how the battles are innitiated a/o how they conclude.
Now, the Dead Pool vs Pinkie Pie? Nah, that tracks. But I don't see Spidey killing Batman unless he saw Bats as a serious threat. Especially not in such a brutal fashion.
Same with Static & Miles.
However, on a purely fight analysis level, I love it. Like, I really enjoy it when people go that in-depth with stuff.
Well, did you watch the latest episode of Shigaraki vs Mahito, and what is your favorite Death Battle episode?
Phantom in Hope Peak
Danny Fenton is confused when he presents the greatest study for space presentation for the science fair (for once there is no ghost attack for a week which allows him to make the project great), he gets scouted for a place called Hope Peak Academy in Japan as the Ultimate astronomer, and while Danny is perplexed whenever about going, he is convinced as his friend tell him about how a graduated student of Hope Peak Academy is set for life and team phantom will just help the Fentons and Amity with the ghost problem while he is away. Danny stands in front of Hope Peak gate wondering about his future, not knowing about the strange future he is about to be in and how that weird fashionista pigtail girl considers Danny strange. Still, this Naegi guy is a good person with some strange luck.
TLDR: Danny goes to Hope Peak, and probability (or not) prevents the Tragedy as he has ghost power that no one in Hope Peak knows about (maybe except Junko, which got her attention to try figuring out how to add that to her great despair plan)
Click on it twice. These are your two super powers.
everyone else always seems to fucking get cool shit and i always get like “gel manipulation” and “using dust along w/ your fighting style”
My first one was “poison smoke manipulation” which is acceptable then my second one is “Family Creation” which gives Princess Bubblegum’s candy kingdom as an example, so, I guess I’m making everything I’ve ever drawn into a real thing and if anyone doesn’t like it I’m going to asphyxiate them with gas.
I have Telekinetic Senses and Association Manipulation.
Uhh... Should I be concerned???
Does this typically happen on here?
Are people okay???
It's the AO3 author curse (or AO3 author syndrome), where a fanfiction author gets into a weird and potentially dangerous situation (also their first priority is their fanfic) and their comment is to apologize for their hiatus, I looked this up at Urban Dictionary.
apparently, I joined this tumblr place at 4/13/22, 7:12:33 AM.
Wait.... I joined at Homestuck day?!?!!!
Hello there, what is your opinion on the great and mighty Kevin (Wettsworth) from Hunter the parenting? And also did you see the analysis for Kevin by QosmicVoid in YouTube?
I didn't see, but Kevin's conversations with D nearly makes me pee myself everytime.
well.... You should watch the video of the Kevin analyst and after you watch it can you tell me if the analyst of Kevin fit your opinion on him (that you didn't share beside that the interaction between Kevin and D make you laugh as many other as Kevin has the best, and funny, line), also do you agree with QosmicVoid that the Sabbat (the sect, group of vampire, that want to remove their humanity and want to make the world where the masquadeis thrown away and vampire are at the top of the food chain openly and mortal are food and slave) are fascist?
Hey got a question for you about what you think about the Persona series and what do you also think about the version of Yaldabaoth in Persona 5?
It was interesting, but much like your idea, the Yaldabaoth of Persona 5 was as much of a double fake.
Recall that perception is a big deal in Person 5, so he was a result of humanity's perception of the true God.
In fact, it's pretty telling that they chose the name Yaldabaoth rather than Yahweh or Jehovah. It means that the Gnostic perception of Him was chosen specifically & with intent.
It's also telling that Satanael, who is likely an interpretation of Lucifer, was depicted as the good guy.
In a lot of ways, you could say that Gnosticism is in direct conflict with Abrahamic religion.
At the same time, now that I've been given time away from it, I'm able to see it as an way to showcase that perception isn't everything. After all, there are many who perceive the police as all evil & oppressive, but my uncle was a cop who dedicated his life to stopping trafficking rings. As such, I know that those individuals are mistaken.
In this way, I believe that the interpretation of God & the Devil from Gnosticism is similar. Yaldabaoth is a false image of the True God in which He is perceived as wicked.
However, from the perspective of a Christian, this is what's referred to as a false perception or delusion.
Otherwise, I adored Persona 5! It was a great game!
Well I can kinda see what you are saying. Also what do you think about Izanami (persona 4 final boss) with myriad truth used to defeat her and Nyx (persona 3 final boss) with the sad sacrifice of the protagonist to seal it(let's use the p3 canonical name Makoto Yuki)? While I don't know if you know and like 3 (with the Reload remake just published 2 months ago)and 4( with golden), and might take your time about getting your opinion on both.
Hello there, it that lurking talking procrastinating (by giving other people prompts that for reasons original idea not working) cheese wolf.
I have a very long ( like 10 years)post (AGIT) canon Danny Phantom au about Tucker, now here me out
After 10 years after AGIT where everything went kinda okay after and Tucker moved out to Maple Grove ( I used a random us city generator) in Minnesota after graduation from a university while Danny stayed to do stuff ( you can pick a reason Danny stay like being the ghost king, help being a bridge between ghost zone and the living world, or something else your choice) and Sam is supporting him, so with a agreement for talking weekly online Tucker is off. While Tucker is at Maple Grove he got a job as a technology teacher at Whitewater school (used another random generator for the name) and after a few months he got a hang of it and while Tucker is at the school park after the sun went down, he noticed that one of his student with a baseball bat and book fighting a.... He doesn't know what it is, but he is sure that is a monster that is somehow infused with ectoplasm and the boy is tired and sluggish, so tucker pull out the emergency Fentons laser gun and fire it at the monster.
Harry Miller (random name generator) is tired of his life so far in that at the first day at school, he is tricked by bullies to go to the school basement to get something ridiculous but found a grimoire in a secret room with most of the pages ripped off the book, found out the supernatural exists after fighting a heavily weakened vampire in said secret room with a baseball bat, being alone with a best bro named James Brown who loved anime and have knowledge about the supernatural and it weaknesses ( even if is from watching anime), found out that Maple Grove is top of a ancient temple that if activated with 4 keys will give the beater ultimate Power and that the 3 being that want the power that pridefully called themselves gods, Dhoemis (god name generator), Aelia (Same generator), and Yaldabaoth (Harry mocknly call it yal) (they are not gods, they are (while powerful and have loyal servants) unaging manipulator that which to use the temple power to control the world but they are infighting as the temple can only give one person ultimate Power, and Harry don't want that as if a 'god' win humanity will lose their will and mind as they become, in a word, puppet for the 'god'),after getting bunch of the grimoire page and halting the 'god' plan a lot, he fought a monster that somehow enhanced (and glow green) that it took a risky gambit to kill the monster and while he is fighting the other one later while tired a laser hit it and Harry looked to the direction that the laser comes from and saw his technology teacher carry a laser gun. After the monster is slain, Tucker wants an answer about this and after a conversation an agreement about Tucker helping Harry with the monster problems and after getting a question about what to do with the enhanced monster, Tucker knows a person that can help with that (Danny and Sam) but it will take couple of month before they will arrive.
Tldr Tucker becomes a kinda mentor/ weapon teacher for Harry after learning about the 'gods' and their plan.
(the 'gods' didn't know about the ghost zone at all and just recently barely understand that infusing their servant give them ghost like power to get rid of that pest (Harry Miller) unknowingly give the infused ghost like weakness like Fenton tech and other stuff)
Also it is funny if there is like an anime about the event of Danny Phantom (but slightly changed) that is James favorite.
The spell system in this is the holder of a grimoire has a mana pool that can refill by resting ( slowly refilling) or hitting things in combat ( refill fast at a strike), the way you can perform a spell is to raise the grimoire up and yell the spell name in Latin (the more correct pronunciation the more powerful the spell is) if you try to use a spell while the mana pool is empty either the spell doesn't work or you push to get the spell work but you harm yourself that has to be rested naturally.
Example of the spell of the grimoire
Cure wounds
Berserk form ( enlarge the holder a bit and makes them stronger at melee combat at a limited time of 30 seconds)
Fire rain
And you can think of others
(also Harry is not from any hunter clan, he is just a regular person who is just a bit unlucky to find out monsters exist and had to save Maple Grove from monsters and their 'gods')
This is actually a pretty interesting premise. I get the feeling that Sam will have the most knowledge of this stuff as not only is she a fan of anime, but also goth & seemed to be able to find that sort of info fairly quickly in the show. So, it's likely that she's interested in this sort of thing anyway.
Though, I get the impression that she'd be personally insulted by Yaldabaoth just by virtue of being Jewish. Which, would honestly just add fuel to her desire to end that jerk.
Well Sam will be more insulted when she learns that the 'Yaldabaoth' is not even the real Yaldabaoth( Even though the false one is skilled at manipulation as the real one) and wanting to use the temple of lament (new temple name) power to become the real Yaldabaoth and control the world like a puppet on a mindless string, so she will be triple insulted (one by the existence of Yaldabaoth, two that Yaldabaoth is a fake pretending to be a god, and three the fake are planning to be a real god to control the world)after (learning from Tucker) finding out about this and which to help end those false 'gods' after she and Danny went to Maple Grove in couple of months and not ASAP because reason that needed Sam and Danny that I have no clue on, so right now it is about tucker which has to teach Harry how to, thankfully, upgrade his bat into the Fenton anti creep bat to harm the infused monster when they appear ( when you are around your friend parent that had to teach you how to build a tech that can harm ghost, you will never forget).
Harry Miller is doing his monster hunting for 7 months and it is hard because his usual kit ( a baseball bat, his grimoire, an enchanted airsoft pistol with 2 spare magazines full of pellets soaked in holy water (they found a page about enchantment for the grimoire), a first aid kit, and couple of plastic water bottles filled with homemade holy water) is not always available as the only thing he always carries is the grimoire and has to improvise (like breaking a wooden broom for a improvise spear against a vampire or using a barbell (without added weight because Harry is not a strong guy and even then he has to use berserk form to use it effectively) as a weapon against a werewolf (despite what you think, not even a werewolf can survive a head crush by a heavy barbell even if it not silver).)
Harry had a little support besides his Best bro, James Brown (who despite being a (chubby) heavy anime fan who is kinda rich has a modified flying drone which can use speakers to distract monsters and can shoot modified airsoft pellets at them), and one of them is Mary Bigelow, a 75 year old Herb mixologist who knows a little of the occult and mistakenly believes that Harry is her grandson, forgetting that her family moved away. The only other support is Naoki Angevin, a 40 year old Japanese Sensei of a dojo that Harry joined because of a rumor of a strange key, Naoki learned of the supernatural and decided to keep training Harry martial arts.
The false 'gods' (let's just call them fakers until someone made a cooler name that relates to false god) has thousands of monsters in their call but their pride just gets them to use one or two at a time, they can use power magic that even the most powerful spell in the grimoire (fire rain) feel like a cantrip. And before anyone ask if those faker just go to Maple Grove to find the keys, they can't as their agelessness youth are being connected to the pocket dimension and if they went out longer then a day they died of old age turn into dust ( their youth returns when the faker went back to their dimension.)
The infused (monster infused with the ectoplasm) have the strength of a ghost ( their strike can burn with ectoplasm energy, turn Intangible for a while, and are resistant to the grimoire magic and physical strike like an infused werewolf can survive a crush in the head, which it very hurt, that a regular one doesn't.) but gain weakness that the regular monster doesn't have ( a Fentons weapon can disable ecto abilities and greatly harm the infused, they need ectoplasm regularly or they become weak, and if a Fentons thermo ever pointed at the infused the ectoplasm in their body are pulled to the thermo making the infused near death. Among regular ghost weaknesses) I have no idea which Faker found out about ectoplasm and the idea of infusing monsters with it.
Also the 'current' moment of Tucker found out about Harry hunting monsters and teaching him the Fenton tech, Harry has one temple key and keeping it safe in a lockbox under his bed.
A DP au idea
A scholar just recently arrived at Amity Park because of a newspaper show 2 ghost that exactly look like the 2 being that is shown through the ancient art and stories that even the most knowledgeable scholar wanting to know about, and that newspaper went to their house in Norfolk and while He could send other to investigate, he felt like investigate it himself as he have some knowledge about the being called ecto ghost from his ex (who got his information from his brother for some reason?)and leave his chapter librarian in charge of the house while the scholar leaves.
After arriving at Amity Park, the scholar looked around the town and, after confusing some locals with his Irish accent, found that the ancient ghosts are called phantom and plasmius(good) and that they are Enemies (weird) and they appear when the ghost first appeared at Amity Park (wait what?)and their defense (aside phantom) is Fenton family and that give the scholar deja vu and before he thinks of this, suddenly ghosts appeared as they causing trouble and a ghost that obsessed with box pressing him and the scholar saw phantom appear and fighting ghost and capturing them into a thermo (for some reason) and before he went after phantom to ask questions, the box ghost distract him and phantom goes away to capture more ghosts, the scholar stand there staring at box ghost and calm down, breath though his nose, and flick his finger through the ghost head using his solar sorcery to give box ghost extreme pain for causing stupidity and walk to the Fenton work to ask questions about ghosts and both phantom and plasmius.
After going to the Fenton work the scholar see a man talking to.... Wait.... No... No no no NO NONO NO NOOOOOOOOOO. Occam stands there, blank eyes ,thinking about his life choices and what goes wrong with it as he got one question for god......
WHY IS BIG-D HERE AND WHY THE MAN HE TALKING TO LOOK LIKE A SANE VERSION OF HIM!?!?!?!?
HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHHHAHAHHA
HAPPY (early) APRIL FOOL
It's actually the continuing post about DPx HTP about Occam O'Connell (hope you watch episode 4) went to Amity Park to investigate phantom and plasmius, the same time the previous dpxhtp post take place, and saw, his ex, Big-D and (unknown to Occam) his brother Jack Fenton. What do you think about my April FOOL and do you get the hint that the scholar is Occam before the reveal?
Funny you should mention it. I literally just got finished watching it!
It was fun! I enjoyed it! Also, Occam was great. I really enjoyed him, but I'm so sad that Lord Fatique was massacred like that.
Anyway, I actually first thought it was from D's perspective, but as soon as Solar magic was mentioned, I was like, "wait... YES!!"
I just love Occam's character & I love the sort of sorcery he uses!
Also, I think that the prank was actually interesting & it could actually make for a fun feature of your story.
Also, my brother told me that Mages bend reality, but they do it through rituals that requires skill & uses components. The way you described them, it sounded more like they could just think of what they wanted & make it so without any sort of preparation. If that's not the case, then I like them the way he described it!
The hint in question (I know it after April fools but I have to give the answers to the hints)
House in Norfolk - the arcanum house in great Yarmouth.
Occam ex (and his brother)- Big-D and his brother Jack
Chapter librarian - Renald Blacklaw, Occam uncle
Irish accent - dare I say more.
You got solar sorcery.
Occam deja vu of the Fenton family because of his ex, Big-D and his family.
And there is all the hint.
And while I am typing this I have a few questions about your idea, what do you think of what Jack and his family thought of Occam and do you think that there are vampires and their ghoul in Amity Park?(Also does Occam figure out if Danny Fenton is phantom or not? Like sure Occam is here to learn about phantom and plasmius but there are distractions like Big-D and the ghost attack.)
Honestly? When I really think about it, I don't think that Amity would really be the sort of place where the typical vampire would stick around. Specifically, due to the ecto ghosts everywhere.
I sort of hc that pure ectoplasm is downright lethal to vampires. And while they could drink halfa blood, it's like drinking very strong acid vs very strong poison to them.
Also, keep in mind that the Consensus doesn't really seem to have any power there.
Not only that, it seems that death nullified whatever it is that causes delirium at the sight of werewolves & their anger issues. At least, that's what Wulf's existence implies.
But this could also mean that these things aren't natural to their species &, in fact, might even be caused by something.
Of course, that's just speculation.
Honestly, the Fenton family would most likely wonder how D managed to land the guy.
As for how Occum would see them. Well, as just people, he'd likely think that the parents were eccentric & a handful, especially Jack, but that they were also friendly & accepting.
The kids, he'd see as regular kids that... honestly, sort of mystify him as it's sort of a miracle how the Fentons managed to raise such a normal, well-adjusted kid, not once, but twice. Especially considering how eccentric the parents are.
It's learning about how the Drs. Fenton view ghosts, the fact that they are eccentially mad scientists, & that they managed to DRILL A HOLE THROUGH THE VEIL INTO THE HEREAFTER, that would have him stumbling a bit before reassessing his views on them.
At the same time, I get the feeling that if Jack knew that D hadn't signed their divorce papers yet, he'd likely admonish him for it. It ain't okay to hold someone hostage in a relationship. Which, I'm not sure. Would D see that as preachy or just another example of Jack trying to act as a good influence on him?
Or possibly a little of both?
Like, he most likely wouldn't appreciate it if his brother was just being preachy, but on the other hand, he'd probably appreciate it if he was just trying to be a good influence on him because it'd be a very clear sign of Jack showing that he very much cares for D.
Though, even long after the divorce was signed, Jack would likely still insist that "once a Fenton, always a Fenton." Meaning that he's liable to still treat Occam as another brother & insure that Danny & Jazz treat him with the respect due an uncle.
In a lot of ways, I actually see their family-oriented mindset as being a very Fenton trait.
The question is, would Occam appreciate the immediate acceptance & inclusion?
Occam when learned that the Drs. Fenton drills a hole to the ghost zone and Jack is the brother of Big-D, thought this is where Big-D got his information on ecto ghost from. And confused about being like a brother in law to the Fentons but silently accepting it.
While the reunion and the idea that he is still treated like a brother in law was shocking and Occam is still on a mission to figure out what is going on with phantom and plasmius, and goes on to find the local Amity Park arcanum house, hopefully near the motel where he is sleeping at (it would be funny if Occam room is couple of room away from Big-D and his family rooms) but find that (your choice on if: the arcanum house is underfunded and understaffed to the point that it like a school club or there is no arcanum house at Amity) and that he has to get the information himself but while he knows that phantom came whenever ghost attacked Amity Park, for some reason (the box ghost blab about Occam can hurt ghost with strange energy) the ghosts keep pestering Occam and this keep testing Occam patience and when Occam has a chance to talk to phantom something happens that needed phantom, and when Occam found phantom and plasmius fighting he is nearing that calm fury and use his solar sorcery to grab both phantom and plasmius ear to shock them but phantom goes invisible (to go home) and plasmius go on a rant about trying to get phantom to be his son because of his halfa status and disappeared, while Occam found this confusing, especially the word "halfa" and planed to ask the Fenton about it but is approached by the mayor Vlad Master for questions for Occam and that strange energy he used against the ghost. After answering questions from Vlad, he got a question about how to run a arcanum house as Vlad planned to help fund the local arcanum house to understand the ecto ghost and want Occam help to teach Vlad the way of arcanum, while Occam found this strange and wanting to figure out the halfa (and what it means), he got to go back to Great Yarmouth before Remold Blacklaw done something very stupid again and Occam does want to help the arcanum, so he accept Vlad deal, not noticed that Vlad had a sinister plan with the arcanum house.
By the way this is my first time using the HTP middle explanation interlude.
While Jack doesn't explain the supernatural very much, he does talk about the fact that the supernatural is real and vampire and that they have many weaknesses which is the reason that Danny occasionally called Vlad, Dracula and some weird funny vampire names instead of fruit-loop sometime.
Interestingly, even though I don't see Maddie as the type to actually believe that the supernatural is legitimately the supernatural until there is literally no other explanation left for her to explore, I think it'd be interesting if her & Occam got along fairly well otherwise. If only when commiserating on being the more responsible & down-to-earth halves of a pair. (Even if he & D are separated, he was still in a relationship with him for a time.)
Also, I can’t help but think that Maddie would show a distinct interest in Occam’s martial arts style. Which, btw, seems to very much resemble Hamon from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, which itself is very inspired by the Chinese art of Qigong. Though, IRL, there doesn't seem to be anything similar to it in ancient Celtic culture, which contradicts the fact that Occam referred to solar sorcery as something of his ancestors or homeland, I believe.
At the same time, I theorize that it’s just a deviation in WoD's history compared to our own. In this instance, it'd just be an example of the braid phenomenon, in that it isn't something exclusive to a singular culture. And it'd be a very easy occurrence too considering the fact that the body's fundamental functions don't exactly change in any major way simply because of location or culture.
I've also read somewhere that there were, at the very least, some properly ancient meditation practices in Celtic culture, so it isn't like there's no president for it. Though, rather than being geared towards transcending the spirit in order to escape what is perceived as eternal suffering, Celtic meditation seemed to be more so a celebration of life that specifically focused on connecting with nature.
Also, the Welsh, which is a Celtic country, evidently had a concept known as awen or “inspiration,” which was understood as a flow of divine energy that moves through a person & was believed to be something that you could access, direct, & whathaveyou. So, it'd be extremely easy for this sort of thing to take place.
As such, it'd simply take an ancient Celt discovering that proper breathing techniques helps them to fight better, plus an incentive to refine such.
Regardless, I haven’t really seen enough of how Occam fights beyond the ear pinch to know what sort of style it’s based on.
However, like I said, I do think that Maddie would show some professional interest in its applications. Though, she’s unlikely to fully believe in the more spiritual side to it until after she’s accepted that some things simply can’t be explained with science, which would be an extremely hard pill to swallow for her.

So, are you saying that Occam's solar sorcery would prevent ecto-ghosts from becoming intangible? Or is this something else? I'm not so sure if that should be a thing. Like, is that part of the lore? Like, I could understand it hurting Vlad to a degree, but not other ghosts unless they were like Shadow.
In my mind, ghosts & especially ecto-ghosts have a degree of resistance to most living realm magics. And even the little effectiveness that it retains against them drops to zero when they become intangible. In order to do so, it's required a living realms magic that's designed specifically to interact with them. Like, animagy & thanatomagy.
The only exception being types of magic in some way related to how a specific ghost died, which wouldn’t actually harm them itself, more so it would cause them to relive their own deaths, which the emotional harm done by it would become physical harm. As a result, it's actually a crime in quite a few places in the IR to do such.
Basically, attacking Phantom with electrical sorcery would count.
Anyway, this would essentially force the requirement of more holistic methods such as rowan wood, salt, iron, copper mirrors, ect. That & the use of Fenton tech.

Personally, I definitely think it's possible that there is an Arcanum house in or at least near Amity if for no other reason than the fact that it's believed to be very near to Chicago. My guess is that the Wisconsin division’s main house is likely in Chicago & that the one in Amity would likely be a smaller offshoot of it so that they could better manage things. It's possible that Amity might sit on a sort of leyline cluster, as well as a thin spot in the universal membrane dividing the IR from the Living Realms, which would explain why the Fentons chose it. However, if that's the case, then it's also possible that Amity could be a bit of a supernatural hotspot.
However, I'm not too terribly sure what the state of the Amity house would be. Because things would've obviously changed quite a bit due to the Ghost Portal. It's possible that, initially, there'd been a lot of chaos. Though, it's likely that they eventually began to adapt to the change.
Also recall the fact that basically the whole town knows that these things are actual ghosts & know that they are real (with the exception of Kyle Weston, but he's a phandom baby).
Like, there is never any indication of something even close to Paradox or Consensus being a thing in DP, so in order to make this crossover work, either pure Ectoplasm is completely unaffected by it or a whole bunch of things about how DP went will have to be changed in accordance with the Consensus.
Though, the idea that Occam helps to build back up the Amity Arcanum is an interesting one. Even if it is with Vlad's help.
—
Honestly, in some ways, I think that the Consensus may well be a Mage & Sleeper creation. Remember that these Mages are able to bend reality. So, isn’t it also possible that what actually creates these Paradoxes are their own belief in the Consensus as something to defy?
Not that I think it’s true, but I find it an interesting possibility to think that Mages essentially live inside a cage of their own creation & that they themselves hold the key, but don’t use it to escape because they do not believe that the key exists.
Can you imagine? Consensus as the single largest psyop designed specifically to control the masses by controlling the Mages & the Sleepers.

Also, turns out that I watched something on Warhammer TTS. I just only really watched the first episode is all. I wasn’t a fan of how the Emperor seemed to despise all religion & was surprised that his empire became what it did. Not seeming to realize that humanity naturally latches onto faith in higher powers. Like, of course this would freaking happen considering the Emperor abolished all religion! You take away all religion from humanity, we will make up a new one &, wouldn’t you know it? Corrupt factions hijacked his teachings & humanity’s tendencies to seize control for themselves & warp the Emperor’s intentions, thus creating an arguably worse crusade than what the Catholic church is blamed for!
Like, Jung even said something on the importance of faith in something more than themselves for the human psyche.
What he failed to take into account is the fact that evil, horrible people will be evil & horrible regardless of whether they have a religion to excuse their actions or not.
Had those corrupt within not taken over the Empire, then other wretched people would've found some other outlet for their misdeeds & his efforts to create a better humanity would’ve been moot.
Evil is much like a virus in that when one means of propagating has been cut off, it’ll evolve to find a new way to spread.
And, yes, I’m aware that the Warhammer series on YouTube is what a number of Hunter the Parenting’s characters are based on or inspired by. That doesn’t stop me from looking at the Emperor & thinking “what an arrogant asshole, forcing his antitheistic tendencies upon others; the fuck is he any better than any other proslysizer?”
In a lot of ways, by doing as he had, the Emperor ultimately created a homogenized culture that eventually eradicated all others in such totality that not even the Roman Empire or Hitler had managed. Though, I say this because I see religion as being one of the foundational pillars of culture. From a sociological perspective, religion is a reflection of a culture's values & one of the fundamental pillars of culture is religion & how it influences a culture. In this way, they are intrinsically linked & parts of each other. They affect & influence each other. So, what happens when one half of that equation suddenly disappears? Because, think about how much influence religion has upon things like music, literature, architecture, art, ect.
While I doubt that this was the Emperor's intention, it was still the consequences of his antitheistic beliefs erasing religion's part in humanity's development as a people, thus creating a vacuum where it once was. Which, he then proceeded to fill with himself, not because he wanted to, but because he realized that humanity would need something else to latch onto in the absence of gods. However, when he died, it ultimately laid the groundwork for it to get as bad as it did because now he wasn’t there to control things.
Which, according to a paper I'm reading, there's evidence to suggest that Hitler had believed in the laws of nature as the only true god. That he saw science rather than religious observance as the way forward for humanity's path of gaining knowledge. If anything, it may have even been his full faith in science, even just the science as it was known at the time, that reinforced his eugenic, supremacist beliefs, thus enabling him to commit such horrid acts to begin with.
At least, that was my understanding of the situation.
But enough of philosophizing.

Also, I'll be offended if Danny hasn't referred to Vlad as “Ghostferatu” at least once.
(insert HTP interlude jingle)
Kitten gaming skill is well known to the world as an unbeatable champion that frightens other, beat armored core the day when it came out at hardest difficulty, defeat 3 highest level players (Tucker is one of them) at the same time in Doomed while at level one and using a joke weapon, and is known to be "King of Games" while being silent (not messaging at all because of his hunter life)
Kitten while shocked and slightly depressed (Because of his banishment from the arcanum) that Occam is here, still want to know more about ghosts as while he got information from Jack, who offered to give Kitten the Fenton tech version of his flintlock spear, Maddie, whose bias that the ghost is evil give Kitten pause, and while they have knowledge about ghosts, it based on the human side of knowledge and Kitten want to know more so he do what he think give him more info the most, asking ghosts. While Kitten hangs around a ghost attack asking any ghost that are willing to explain about anything about themselves and the ghost 'life', he got a curious word "halfa" when "talking"(chased) to (by) a cyborg ghost called skulker who called phantom that and after he got away from Skulker, went to Fentons work to ask Jack who is talking to Danny who is drinking water and Big-D who is drinking apple cider since he not allowed to drink alcohol harder then light beer. "What are halfa?", that question makes Danny choke and spit out water that Kitten noted, Jack explains that apparently there are beings that are both alive and dead, which makes Big-D spit cider, shocked that there are something that are both alive and dead, Jack asked Kitten where he learned that word, and after Kitten explained his "meeting"(chase) with skulker and that phantom is called that (which makes Danny stressed, which Kitten noticed) and that conversation went from explaining what are halfa to wanting to test phantom with laser when Maddie join the conversation which turn into what the difference between hard inhumane testing (like how much power to put a hard ghost to a coma with laser) and soft testing (like how pure the iron could be after adding other material in the mix could affect ghost) while Danny stealthy go somewhere which Kitten noticed.
While Kitten is out somewhere at Amity Park, he met Vlad Master and while he is a bit new to the hunter experience, he is trained by Big-D to have a kind of a six sense for untrustworthy people because of Edward Davies (Kitten first vampire encounter) and Vlad is ringing that six senses, so when Vlad want to talk to Kitten for reasons (like what Big-D here for, or trying to pay Kitten to spy on the Fenton), the sense went off and Kitten looked for a reason to get away from Vlad.
(note that Kitten is suspicious of Danny and thought that Danny is helping phantom, also unless you object to that, Big-D knows Danny is Phantom and Vlad is Plasmius after the first meeting each because Big-D is very perceptive besides his craziness)

Hello there, while I do some Danny Phantom idea but I am here to show you the difference between the hunter from both editions of hunter the reckoning from world of darkness and hoping to get your opinion on both hunters. (Also note that I don't know everything about hunter the reckoning thing like what is the messenger or other things and I also a bit bias for 5th edition because the idea of normal people hunting monsters is cool)
Imbued from 1st edition is supernaturally augmented people who are chosen by the messengers to hunt monster. There are 3 virtues with 3 creeds each but if the imbued want to get a more powerful edge they get more deranged ( a mechanic that every point of virtue above 7 you must get a derangement) and if they want the most powerful edge they must become an extremist.
The virtues (and creed) is
Virtue of zeal is driven by negative emotion of the supernatural and seeking to hurt the monster (the creeds of zeal is avengers creed, judges creed, and defenders creed)
Virtue of mercy is driven by positive emotion and wish to resolve conflict and see everyone thrive (the creeds of mercy is martyrs creed, redeemers creed, and innocents creed)
Virtue of vision is driven by a stable balance of emotion and determine what need to be done without bias( the creed of vision is visionaries creed, hermit creed, and waywards creed)
The extremist path are what happened when an imbued becomes too powerful (got 10 dot in virtue) and deranged ( the three path are the divine path which is chosen, the corrupt path which is corrupted by a demon, and the independent path are when an extremist don't want to be a puppet)
Yeah being an imbued sucks but they are the star of hunter the reckoning...
Until the 5th edition put the imbued in to backstage and let normal people be the star.
5th hunters are normal people that after finding out monsters are real decide to hunt them.
Hunter, while there is some edge that give them a semblance of magic abilities, are just regular people that has to research the quarry (the supernatural beings they are currently hunting) and use the element of surprise they currently have (even their edges reflect this like a library edge that a hunter can access a wealth of information), because while they can be prepared against the monster, the monster can also be prepared against the hunters.
The 5th edition creeds is both the reason, how they approach the monster, and the way of life (note that 3 words for later)
Martial creed is the militaristic hunter that seeks finality to the supernatural to protect people from monsters but are more likely to be extremist and willing to risk the element of surprise to end the monster.
Inquisitive creed are the people who want to know more about the problem and are more knowledgeable about the things they are against but they are more likely to let the monster live so they can learn about it more even though the monster kills more people and they are not well armed.
Faithful creed are religious people who are more likely to use magical like abilities from relics but if has a crisis of faith becomes weak.
Entrepreneurial creed are both engineers and business seeker as they make tech to capture (yes capture) to get a potential reward of inspiration of a invention to get profit but are reliant on their tool and the captured monster can use their power to escape and causes trouble
Underground creed use stealth and immediate action like trap and improvise to be unpredictable but their lack of long term planning leaves them unprepared.
While the creed is the way of life there are groups of hunters that treat it like a job and look to use the monster's existence to their benefits while the hunter want to end the monster existence to save people, they are the orgs (organization). I don't have enough energy to list the example of the orgs but the arcanum (the scholars that you ask in the post of dpxhtp)are one of them.
So what do you think of the imbued and the hunters? They both hunt monsters.
Hmm... Honestly, I also prefer the idea of regular-ass people being hunters. Fits more with what I tend to think hunters do.
Can Dhampirs also be hunters? Because that's basically the mythos behind Dhampirs to begin with, so I wouldn't understand why not.
Here is the post about orgs and the drive that Hunter has.
Orgs is an organization (no wonder what it is short for) that work using monster existence to their benefits and often clash with hunter cells ( a group of hunter like a standard ttrpg party) because hunters want to destroy the monsters and the many members of a org lack drive (I will talk about it later in this post) but the org occasionally use hunter as bait or pay them to do a task the the org don't want to risk any assets. There are 5 types of organizations as the orgs are like a 'corrupted' hunter creed as the org while having the same idea as a creed, they lack the drive that Hunter has.
Academic orgs that are like inquisitive creed in that to the academic information is crucial and so they are more knowledgeable then the other org but also the most reluctant to use it as they don't hunt monster because they want every information about the supernatural. Example of an academic org is the arcanum.
Corporate orgs are a version of a entrepreneur hunter in that they are a business (even though they keep the monster existence a secret)and have a potential to use experimental technology but they hunt monsters they are predictable and don't want to kill all monsters as like a vampire killing businesses will be bankrupt if there is no more vampire. An example of a corporate org is Re:Venge.
Government org is well funded, equipped, and organized but not always as they are complex as while they keep the supernatural existence a secret, they are the unchecked tool of violence. The org version of the Martial creed and the example of a government org is information awareness office (IAO)
Religious org view that the supernatural are created as soldier for a army of evil to bring an end of time and thus the religious org sought to bring the end of the monster. The religious org usually have a small but dedicated member but thought to be the leader of the second inquisition (a movement by different hunter and org to hunt vampire, vampire calling it the second inquisition because they remember the first inquisition) and often retaliate against those they believe colluding with the supernatural. The org version of the faithful creed and an example is The Nails of Christ.
Vigilante 'org' is unique in that they appear similar to the hunters because vigilante want to take action without being encumbered by structure or other rules, they lack resources or power of the rest of the orgs but the strength of a vigilante org comes from the individual who is part of this org. The 'org' version of the underground creed and the example is not shown.
While we are here let's talk about drive as the hunter has 3 things Creed, Edge, and Drive. Drive is a hunter's motivation to act against the supernatural and drive can be anything like curiosity about the supernatural and atonement for helping a monster live unknowingly and let people die and seek atonement. Drive can cause hunter despair and has to do a redemption to get out of it and remember why they went on the hunt( for example of an atonement drive they must defend someone from the monster by putting themselves in harm's way)
Hello there, I love your post and I like your idea about Danny being affected by hamon but now not the time for dp x jjba and i have a long post idea that I would be understanding that it takes you days to research and post your idea.
Danny Phantom (phantom planet not happen in this au idea) x hunter: the parenting and by extension the world of darkness.
A few months before the event of Adorable Family Trip, the D family went to Amity Park for a month to visit one of Big-D ex, Jack Fenton, and while at Amity Park Kitten decided to look into Amity Park folklore. I want to know what 3 folklore that Amity Park has and what Kitten and Big-D thought about it, also bonus point if one of them is not about ghosts.
Also I have fun idea that the D family shenanigans while in Amity Park like Kitten learning about ecto ghost from Maddie ( who has extreme bias), Jack ( who is still learning about ecto ghost), and Big-D ( who usually keeps info until it's relevant), Marckus telling Danny and Dash about his experience with bully and tell them about how Brok Blacklaw eat Marckus book, gross Danny and Dash out, Door and Boy waiting in line at Nasty Burger for the meatiest burger for Boy and telling Jazz about his old 'mining day' unintentionally misled Jazz into thinking he was a miner and not a EOD specialist that he actually is, and Big-D and Jack have a journey and talk about why Big-D broke up with Jack as while Jack is good against ghost, he is not prepared for Big-D reckoning against the various supernatural.
Also for the funny Big-D know Danny Fenton is Danny Phantom when first met and didn't tell his family until on the plane back to Norfolk UK and his reasoning is that "it is obvious".
Holy cow! Honestly, I was confused for a bit. But the further down I got, the more I recognized. Like, Big-D was my first tip off, but it wasn’t until I read Markus, Door, & Boy that it clicked.
Now, I know what we’re talking about. I was afraid this was about Monster Hunter or Hunter x Hunter because I know practically nothing about either of those except dragons & that they are an absolute infestation in Monster Hunter.
You have no idea how lucky you are that my brother got me to watch the animated adaptation on YouTube or I would be completely lost! XD
So, congratulations, I can ramble about this subject!
However, I have only seen the animated adaptation up to Big-D's guide to avoiding arrest & am actually currently watching it as I type because I asked my brother a question about the show & he later said he'd rather watch more of it rather than continue with Lupin III. So, thanks for that. (Jk.)
Brok literally just appeared for the first time. His crew certainly seems to possess quite the mishmash of very unfortunate faces, don't they?
But, yeah, I haven't seen any of the actual sessions, so my knowledge about how that world works is limited to that.
First off, I love, love, love all the supernatural lore in it. I was literally taking down notes.
Anyway, hmm… Well, I just looked at a list of Michigan cryptids & it talked about Michigan Mermen, though evidently, it's “bad luck to threaten one.” Though, the legend specifically says it's in Lake Superior. At the same time, the 2 lakes are connected by Whitefish Bay, so I wouldn't understand why they wouldn't also appear in Lake Michigan unless it was specifically inhabited by a predator of theirs. There's also apparently the Chicago Mothman, which according to a really cool map someone made from doing a bunch of research (Amity Park Location & Map), is most likely not even a full day's travel from Amity. Then there's the Lake Michigan Sea Serpent, which is, like, right there.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it lived in Lake Eerie. Maybe even just a short walk away from Amity itself.
Though, I do also have something a bit more benign that I made up myself. It's not really a creature. It's just a jukebox that plays creepily accurate music. → The Haunted Jukebox
It's really not much, but I figure that it'd be nice to investigate something that wouldn't try to do unspeakable things to them for once, ya know?
And I do have to say that I very much don't see Jack as the type who'd be into Big-D. In fact, I think the only dude that Jack might have a chance of being into is Vlad, who was never interested & will never be interested. And I don't even know if Jack would be aware of his own interest or if it's ever even crossed his mind.
However, I do have an alternate suggestion. What if Jack & Big-D… were brothers or cousins?
Now, I have a lot of thoughts on not only the Fenton Family’s lineage, but several others too, so here's a link so that I don't have to put it all here. → DP AU - Family Legacy
For that matter, I also hc that Warden Walker is Maddie's dad (but neither are aware). Seriously, go read Grandpappy Walker on Fanfiction.com. It’s an interesting read. However, it never finished. I have other hcs involving her family here, too. → The Walker Family
Now, moving on. This could absolutely work because my theories regarding both the Fenton family & Big-D actually align very well.
Mainly in that I hc that the Fentons are descended from a Lugat, thus making everyone descended from him dhampirs after a fashion.
Now, if we go this route, my suggestion is that Jack was the black sheep of the family… but Big-D was the bedazzled, feral sheep that kept biting everyone. Brilliant & the star of the Fenton family with a brain like a supernatural encyclopedia, but obviously has something very wrong in his head.
In my mind, Jack was never good at learning other languages (which was very important for research) or the apotropaic magics of his family because he could never really wrap his head around the mechanics of how it all worked, so he became frustrated with it all, called it a load of hooey & became determined to prove himself a hunter through the medium he did understand: SCIENCE!!!
And engineering. However, because he'd felt like an outcast due to being unable to understand the magical side of things, he'd begun to reject a lot of the old, tried & true hunter methods, relegating them to the domain of superstition even though a part of him knew that it was all true. He was bitter, okay?
Despite this, he's actually surprisingly honest with himself, considering how full of himself he can be. As such, if he's ever shown concrete evidence that he's wrong, he's actually very quick to adapt & accept that fact.
Then, promptly make amends.
Maddie, however, is ridiculously secular & stubborn. As such, she would be ridiculously difficult to convince regarding subjects involving the supernatural that couldn't be explained using science.
Interestingly, despite being so very different, Big-D was actually one of the only ones in their family who actually heard out Jack’s theories.
At the same time, though Big-D thought that the possibility of this “Ghost Zone” was, indeed, possible, he'd never thought that Jack would not only be able to reach it, consistently of all things, but then prove it!
Personally, I love it when experts of the supernatural are entirely blindsided by something that completely shatters their understanding of the world around them. Like, science is making new discoveries all the time. Why can't the supernatural hunter field also be doing the same?
I'm saying that I think it would be fun if the entirety of Big-D's knowledge of this new plane of existence completely consisted of whatever theories Jack had spoken to him about regarding it.
On the one hand, he's so ridiculously PROUD of Jackie-Boy!!
On the other, Big-D is absolutely shitting his short shorts as it slowly dawns on him the implications of all this.
I mean… this… this is the fucking trans-universal thanatonexus!! Literal proof of alternate & parallel universes!!!
The universe between universes & the moment between times!!!
….
….
Big-D needs to sit down before he passes out…
Which, my guy. I have a full freaking masterlist of hcs regarding how the Infinite Realms work, how it interacts with the Living Realms, how ectoplasm is made. As well as hcs about Clockwork & Nocturn. → DP Ghost Zone Masterlist
Clockwork - The Origin of Clockwork - Clockwork Through the Multiverse - Nocturn (My Style)
Peruse at your leisure.
Seriously, I might have a problem…
I mean, if you really think about it, how would Big-D know much of anything about ecto-ghosts? The only people shown to possess portals are the Fentons & Vlad & the only other portals are natural portals which open randomly & very rarely. Like, maybe he's heard stories about powerful beings that could fly & shoot lasers, but I don’t think he’d know anything truly concrete.
But I definitely think he's aware of Danny's time traveling shenanigans, though only from the perspective of having seen imagery of Phantom & Plasmius scattered through time. But not that it’s Danny & the mayor of Amity (at least initially).
Which, I honestly think that they'd legitimately despise each other. D & Vlad, that is.
Which, perhaps Big-D's actual reason for visiting could partially be because of that? Maybe he saw a picture in a supernatural tabloid about a little town in Illinois that was a tourist trap centering around ghosts? And the picture used was of one of Danny & Vlad's fights?
Maybe it was Kitten who was reading it & Big-D was just sort of sipping his drink at breakfast, was chatting with Kitten, & glanced down only to choke on his drink as he recognized the figures from one of the single greatest mysteries in all of hunter history. He gasps & wheezes rather comically as he tries to catch his breath. Kitten is concerned, but the second D caught his breath, he declared that they were headed to Amity Park to visit family.
The terrifying thing is that I actually think that the Fentons of Amity might be the most well-adjusted members of the current Fentons in the family… This realization haunts me…
Holy fudge, I think Jack would end up being the responsible & rational one between him & D…
Like, I can just see Jack looking D dead in the eye & telling him that drugs, psychedelics, alcohol any purer than near beer, & especially sacrifices were not allowed within 5 yards of the perimeter of Fenton Works & neither were D's sexual indiscretions.
If he brings that shit anywhere near his family, no one will find the pieces. And if he gets caught with that sort of thing here, then Jack's never met the man.
Like, the supernatural stuff is fine, whatever.
Typical Fenton clan brouhaha, but Jack raised a couple of wonderful, talented, genius kids.
(Even if Danny was having a rough time keeping his grades up at the moment, he could still reverse engineer any one of their inventions practically on autopilot, but that's not the point!)
His kids were brilliant & they don't do drugs or commit crimes or go out drinking, & he's not about to have one Bignaceous Ditryck T. Fenton walking in & screwing up the 2 (3 if they’ve adopted Ellie) most sane, well-adjusted children born into the Fenton clan in 5 generations just because he couldn't behave like an adult for a week! Like, he loves D, but “Seriously, D, you need serious help.”
Which would probably start a bit of a dismissive handwaving about how, of course, he’d never dream of it! But Jack just narrowed his eyes at the other man’s insane smile before sighing with a slump of his shoulders before letting them in reluctantly.
Anyway, I'd very much appreciate Amethyst Ocean to be a thing here. This is the DP ship that I've been shipping since I first watched the show. And it was made canon.
Of course, in the end, it's your choice. Not mine.
Also, keep in mind that if Phantom Planet isn't canon, then neither is A Glitch In Time. Just something to remember.
Hey there,
I haven't thought about Jack and Big-D being brothers and I liked it, even though you said Jack couldn't understand magic ( although it could be called sorcery here as magic is used by mage ( a supernatural group of being that can warp reality at a whim at a cost of causing paradox when seen using magic by mortal), by making Jack and Big-D brothers you are making Jack be more knowledgeable about the supernatural in the world of darkness ( as hunter the parenting is set in world of darkness) and although Jack is focused on the ghost zone, he understands the fact of the supernatural like when Danny is telling a light joke about Jack could fight a werewolf bare handed, both Jack and Big-D got serious and tell Danny about how werewolf are a killing machine and don't fight one ever unless really necessary and even then have to fight smart (like trickery and trap) and use silver weapon. And of course since Jack understands the supernatural even though he is using science to study the ghost zone, he is careful to not say anything to alert any supernatural (like breaking the masquerade) and watching for ghoul ( a blood slave that is addicted to vampire blood and serve their master for more vitae, vampire blood) in case if any vampire are interested in the ghost portal for any reason.
While you said that Jack is telling Big-D to act like an adult while near Jack's family, I believe that Big-D listens as he is a family man and he listens to his brother and as you said that Big-D is like a feral sheep that had something wrong in his head and there are theories that Big-D is a imbued (a capital H Hunter that is supernaturally augmented by a being called a messenger to start a reckoning to hunt monster ( that is staring on Hunter The reckoning until hunter 5th edition when it star regular people who is a hunter)) and he also have PTSD from his hunter life like he and his family (sibling and parents, also Jack is not included in this as he is studying) hunted a Methuselah ( a 4th generation vampire that is a equivalent of a walking nuke demigod) and they barely survived after causing final death to the Methuselah.
While on this topic what the rest of the Fenton family thinks of their cousins who are...
Markus ( a gamer who use his creativity to hunt things like his stake shirt)
Kitten (Markus fiancee who want to study anything about the supernatural and for fun have a PTSD like experience when he heard You wa shock, also believe that the arcanum still has jurisdiction over them even after being kicked out)
Door ( a former EOD who talks about his old 'mining' day and like construction)
And Boy ( Door son and likes to eat meat cake. Also powerful thanks to his diet of meat and egg-milk.)
Also how much do you know about the world of darkness?
Honestly? I don't know very much about the world of darkness at all. Like I said, my knowledge of it is currently limited to Hunter the Parenting & I've only watched up to the one where Brok shows up & Horse is apparently possessed by a demon or is a demon horse or something. I've no clue which but it was horrifying.
So, I am still very, very new to this fandom.
Though, I just looked it up & the wiki said that sorcery still involves magic, just not True Magic. Though, I'll be honest, I wish that Mages worked more like the sorcerers from the Sorcerer's Apprentice movie as it gave the explanation that magic works with science, not against it because it is a natural force. Like, from what I understood, an understanding of physics actually helps one to be better able to visualize how spells affect the natural world. Like how Nick Cage says to “take the molecules & shake ‘em.” It was a very interesting interpretation of magic that would’ve kept the mind over matter idea, but also put non-arbitrary limits in place in that you have to understand how magic works alongside physics. Like, there'd be no scientific explanation for how they're able to cause these things to happen, but you could theoretically quantify magic by studying how it effects the world on a scientific level as a result.
It's just not very interesting that Mages don't have to practice or study anything. And I'm not that big a fan of this Consensus thing either.
Also, something I'm reading says that werewolves are like mystical ecoterrorists, but does that mean that all werewolves are evil or is there more to it? Because the only creatures I'm willing to believe such about are Wraiths & Judeo-Christian demons & such. Things that are evil by their very nature. For one, if this were the case in regards to all werewolves, then what about Wulf?
I've also been told that the fae are basically extinct in World of Darkness, but one myth I know of says that the full moon itself can act as a sort of portal to the fae realm. So, if that were true, then it's possible that though the fae have gone extinct on Earth, the fae realm may still remain intact. It's also pretty much impossible for all fae to have gone extinct as there are the Bán-síth, who are in many cases the spirits of dead women. As such, so long as Europe as an entity exists & has women that can die, it's unlikely that the fae will ever truly be gone from the world. It also contradicts with my theory that Ember is a modern Bán-síth & that Cujo is a Cú-síth. Also, I believe Spectra to be an Ecto-Wraith. However, she's different from the Wraiths most well-known in WoD in that she isn't the sort who let her shadow take over. Rather, she became a wraith because of who she was as a person in life. She's a psychologist. She was perfectly aware of her own darkness & she'd embraced it long before she ever died. As such, there was no shadow to deceive her in death because she wouldn't have needed to be deceived. Nor was she ever the sort to give in to much of anything. She's horrifically narcissistic & a sociopath, one who very specifically chooses to behave without moral. As such, they were one from the moment she manifested in the Infinite Realms.
But back to the topic.
According to Reddit, dhampirs did exist in older versions of WoD, so my theory isn't too terribly far off base. The thing is, it doesn't necessarily seem to follow the actual lore of dhampirs & I'm not seeing any mention of lugats either. At the same time, because dhampirs appear in previous editions, but don't in the current one, there is a bit of freedom that comes with it. See, because we're just speculating about a crossover in which DP's world is also the world of WoD, rather than actually playing a game, this would allow us to make certain adjustments to the overall lore so long as it doesn't directly contradict it.
As such, I very much think that when Vlad first became a Halfa, he died, but that he restarted his own heart through pure force of will fueled by his desire for love & affection (something that he very specifically pursued in life), thus he is actually half-Lugat, half-Ghost. And, the real world lore I've read says that dhampirs are specifically the children of Albanian Lugats.
That dhampirs are characterized by elevated physicality, wild dark hair, & the ability to sense the supernatural. It is also believed that dhampirs are destined to kill their Lugat parent. In this way, many could argue that dhampirs are hunters by birth. And one might even say that the birth of a dhampir signals the birth of a new hunter clan.
They aren't simply half-vampires. Let alone Ghouls able to produce their own Vitae.
One thing I'd like to bring up is the idea of hemomagy as a specifically vampiric branch of sorcery. One that not a lot of vampires can use. In fact, it is very rare that one has the knack for it.
Honestly, even though he didn't participate in the battle itself, I'd bet that Jack was still traumatized by the Methuselah incident considering he'd likely have had to help take are of them all afterwards.
Mmm… I think that Danny would get on well with Markus & Kitten. If for no other reason than because they'd game together.
Jack would probably commend Markus’s creativity as it's something that he, himself, also possesses. Especially in regards to his inventions. (I don't know nearly enough about the Arcanum to decide how he'd react to it.)
I think Jazz & Kitten would get on well. Like, I get the feeling that she'd like his obvious enthusiasm for his chosen interest & he'd likely reflect that positivity. I also think that Kitten would be very interested in her discoveries involving ghost envy & any other aspects of ecto-psychology that she's managed to learn.
Things like:
Possessiveness in Ghost Psychology
Talking of Death
The Power of Grief
The Power of Names & Titles
And even the retribution aspects of the Right to Retribution.
Remember that Ecto-Ghosts are not the same as the ghosts in WoD. They are from another universe that works off its own rules.
Though, I also think that Jazz's psychologist brain would be absolutely horrified by the very obvious mental illnesses being on display.
I see Maddie being much like she was in the Christmas episode, in that she very much doesn't believe in the supernatural & even if she were to be realize that these things were real, she'd likely then need to be forced to admit that, 1st, the only ones in any way related to ghostliness would be actual ghosts, then that there wasn't a scientific explanation to at least a few of them. Like I said, I see her as the sort to be quite stubborn concerning these sorts of things. Yes, she very genuinely loves her family, but unlike Jack, who I see as having a core of family, I see Maddie as having a core of science.
And by that I mean that when nothing else in the world makes sense, these are the things that they fall back on for a sense of stability. This is because I think that Jazz inherited her need to be right from her mother. It's just that Maddie's works more subconsciously than Jazz's partially due to Jazz having studied psychology & understanding

Interestingly enough, there's actually real world evidence to suggest that a carnivore diet can be very good for you. (Though, do you mean eggs & milk or egg-milk? Because I'm not too sure what egg-milk is & I honestly don't see it as necessary for a carnivore diet, specifically a lacto-carnivore diet, considering the fact that regular milk, so long as it isn't pasteurized, is still very much an animal product. Also, honey is also something you're allowed to have.)
Which, now that I think of it, Tucker may be a practicing keto dieter who's been looking to go on a full carnivore diet (though, a more lenient one). As such, he'd likely have knowledge of what one actually entails & might have a better understanding of a properly balanced one. So, I could see him having conversations with Door on that. (Not, like, him preaching to Door about it, but rather an actual, civil conversation regarding the nutritional benefits of such a diet. There's actually a recipe I found for something called “Carnivore Beef Bread” & it's apparently pretty good & can be used to make sandwiches.)
Also, Sam would most likely be appalled.
On the other hand, Sam is canonically a fan of Anime, so she'd likely be able to find some things to chat with Markus about. Though, I kind of hc that she's also specifically an enjoyer of manga & a Japanophile in-general with Anime having acted as a sort of gateway to that. I'd have to take a moment to think of the sorts of Anime she'd enjoy though.
I also tend to think that Sam has a very deep understanding of supernatural lore, just that she doesn't know for sure that these things actually exist other than ghosts.
Something to also keep in mind is that the Masquerade wouldn't really exist within the Infinite Realms as it'd be entirely pointless. Not to mention that the likelihood of any of the Ecto-Ghosts, particularly the enemies from the show, would even care if they knew about it. Like, Penelope plays along, but not because she cares about it. More so, she finds it entertaining & it makes it easy for her to consume the misery of her victims. Which, if you think about it, anything that is capable of feeling sorrow would likely be well within her ability to eat from.
Also, I think that Jack would appreciate D taking his concerns seriously. Though, I can't help but think that D would honestly be astonished by how sane his niece & nephew were.
Though something important to ask is if Jack had ever told his family about the supernatural in-general?
Jack told his family about the fact the supernatural is real and not telling them any specific details because the fact of the vampire masquerade as the vampire has to keep to the darkness and stay hidden to make sure that humanity don't learn of vampires existence and if there any masquerade breach there will be blood hunt (every Carmella vampire in the region hunt the person who breaks the masquerade and the witness) so like a smart hunter, Jack give the basic info to his family and swear them to keep it a secret and focus on the ghost portal.
The arcanum is a secret society of scholars that study the supernatural which hunting is forbidden and that according to the wiki many of the scholars are sorcerers, and the D family was part of Great Yarmouth Lodge until they been banished for their hunting and the rivalry between Big-D and Remold Blacklaw (the event of episode 4 and the rest of the current arc take place in the local lodge ( also if you going to watch the episode, be prepared for the graphic event at the end just warning you.)) and Kitten also got banished because he is Marckus fiancee.
Werewolves are not evil but have anger issues (understatement of the year) and the corporations they are fighting are putting spirit into their products (for example from the introduction video from Bruva Alfabusa, they put demon in their cheeseburger so they can stealthy convince people to beat their wives THIS IS NOT A JOKE) but the werewolves are the lesser of the two evil as while they want to save the world, they have rage issues, they don't have many allies as they slaughter the other weres in the past, they caused delirium ( a primal flight or fight response when people see a werewolf in their war form) because they prey on humanity for 3000 years.
Also Door like the conversation with Tucker because the recipe of the Carnivore beef bread is something Boy likes. Also egg-milk is something you eat(not drink, eat) that I learned.

Hello there,
As I am thinking about two posts for trigger time travel AU, a fun one about Danny mistakenly believing there is a vigilante law when the triggered group (temporary group name) not remembering that they are in the past and a dark one about how hero society failed to defeat All for one. I want to know what your opinion about hero society in My hero academia and give me some insight I could use for my Posts.
Btw do you have a cool name for the main group (the time travelled one) as i have no idea what to call them?
Well, it depends. Did the group travel back in time intentionally?
Also, there technically is a law against vigilateism, however there are also several other laws such as the Self-Defense, Defense of Others, Stand Your Ground, & Civilian Arrest laws. Also keep in mind that while the MHA group are mostly Japanese, Danny is an American, which has different laws.
Like, for instance, Lawful Self-Defense is classified as "the use of reasonable force to protect oneself or members of the family from bodily harm from the attack of an aggressor, if the defender has reason to believe he/she/they is/are in danger.”
Defense of Others is also classified as a form of Self-Defense being "the right of a person to protect a third party with reasonable force against another person who is threatening to inflict force upon the third party.”
Stand Your Ground laws are essentially "a revocation of the duty to retreat. Stand Your Ground laws generally state that, under certain circumstances, individuals can use force to defend themselves without first attempting to retreat from the danger.”
And Civilian Arrest laws say that "a private citizen has the authority to arrest a person for a felony under the following circumstances: The felony was committed in the citizen's presence. A felony has been committed, & the citizen has probable cause to believe & does believe that the person to be arrested is guilty of committing it.”
On the other hand, legally speaking, Vigilanteism refers to "the act of preventing, investigating, & punishing perceived offenses & crimes without legal authority."
Which the other 4 directly contradicts, so things get a bit murky there.
Another thing to keep in mind, provided the story still uses ghosts, is that the villains that Danny mostly fights have very few other competent people capable of dealing with them besides Danny himself. And none of those competent individuals have legal authority, while the ones that do are incompetent & are prone to mass amounts of property damage that have most likely resulted in a decent number of injuries, if not fatalities.
And at that point, it becomes a question of what’s more important, innocent lives or the law?
Something that the MHA gang have likely forgotten is the fact that the first heroes were vigilantes.
Another thing is that, as far as I can tell, vigilante & villain laws have become rewritten to involve quirks in their time. So, in the case of Danny being a half-ghost & ghosts still being the problem, then even by their own time's definition, Danny isn't a vigilante & the ghosts aren't villains. Because ghost powers =/= quirks.
As for my personal opinion. I think that the hero leaderboard is a terrible idea & so is the monetization of hero work. I don't like that they are made into celebrities. I think that the role should instead be seen as a branch of service work.
I think that there should also be civilian licenses to allow quirked individuals to use their quirks in certain situations where it is necessary. Of course, I also think that the process of obtaining one should involve a psych eval (for both civilian & hero) at the very least, as well as the civilian having to provide proof that they have control of their quirk.
I also hate how quirk-centric & especially hero-centric everything is. Like, there’s more to life than heroes & quirks. I feel the obsession is frankly unhealthy for everyone involved. For one, it places unrealistic expectations upon heroes who, at the end of the day, are still just regular, flawed people.
They intended to travel back in time by injecting an enhanced trigger into Luka Hall (whose quirk mana is enhanced by the trigger) to Hinder AFO but they went too far(because the factor of the trigger is too strong and Luka saw his sister die in front of him by nomus and traumatized him)to a week before Danny becomes a halfa.
And wow your response about how you hate how hero centric MHA timeline become as I have some ideas how hero society failed to stop AFO, you said that there should be a civilian license and that if there a civilian license it could prevent the creation of a percentage of villains as the hero society created villain as what good is a hero without a villain as they, the hero society, unintentionally giving AFO what he wants. Also the fact that the HPCS hide the fact about AFO is also not helping as they release all they know after they lost everything by AFO killing All Might and Izuku in the original timeline.
The fun post about Danny mistakenly believing there is a vigilante law is a minor running gag that starts from when the time traveled group first finds Danny (in his first month)fighting a ghost and after the fight is over, forgetting that they are in the past, ask him why is he breaking a vigilante law, even after the misunderstanding is clear the running gag has a person (either one of the time traveled group or one of team phantom who believes this is funny) saw Danny doing dangerous risk to stop a powerful ghost, to save people, asked "is this breaking a vigilante (team phantom)/quirk law (time traveled group)?"
You also have a good point about quirk =/= ghost power and I have an idea that in the original timeline, for some reason, ghosts don't appear in the age of heroes as there is a barrier between the ghost zone and earth that is unbreakable and unpassable for reasons I don't have. Sure in the new timeline where Vlad has a change of heart and planning against AFO (this au is about slow burn Vlad redemption) and makes a quirky world bit more ghostly.
