I just really hate the people that take beloved childhood media and make them into horror movies. I don’t mean small time like YouTubers or artists. I mean the ones that ended up in theaters and on store shelves and now streaming services.

Genuinely what the Hell is wrong with those people? Why do you get your rocks off on ruining the perception people have of something that brought them joy?

The Banana Splits Show kept my depression at bay when I couldn’t get the proper meds and some twisted people turned them into a slasher movie. Why? Why ruin something that I can swear in court genuinely saved at least one life?

I could rant for years about how stupid and terrible I find that Pooh horror film. The whole plot is basically just some crumby fanfic with three upvotes after being up for fifteen years and one is from the writer right after it went live and then someone went ahead and turned it into a movie.

You want to make a horror movie? Then there is the recent trend of remaking some of the oldest ones that there is (Nosferatu, Wolfman) or you could just borrow from mythology and folklore. Sure the more well known stuff like vampires, werewolves, zombies, generic demons, Skinwalkers and Wendigos have been adapted, but there’s a massive treasure trove of ancient stories that you could pull from with like an hour of research at most.

Leave people’s wholesome and sometimes best childhood memories alone!

Disclaimer: I am not trying to demonize the folks who actually enjoyed the movies in question. I’m just mad someone thought they were good ideas and got approval to make it. You can enjoy whatever you want even if it shouldn’t have been made in the first place.

It wasn’t the ideal way to start a long term relationship, but you certainly wouldn’t change it if given the chance because her dark blush was absolutely beautiful every time you reminded her of it.

Headcanon that Alicorns are immortal, but can still physically get f*cked up. We’re talking the extreme stuff that happens to characters like Wolverine and Deadpool, only their healing factor, so to speak, is super slow. Which means if Celestia gets her face hit by a ball of lava, then she’s going to need some good illusions or Luna to handle her meetings for a while or lest she traumatize the ponies who had no idea.

Like to imagine Twilight learns this the hard way, whole “SHE’S A ZOMBIE!!!” freakout stuff only for Celestia to explain that it is basically just the Alicorn equivalent of a small bruise. Gets Awesome Points from Rainbow Dash…and Rarity will need nausea medicine for several weeks.

Always appreciate it when artists keep the holes in Chrysalis’s limbs to some degree when drawing her off model, like her human form having torn jeans and fishnet gloves. Those holes just give her something that just clicks right in my brain. I don’t know. I’m tired and haven’t done anything that I wanted to this week, but I figured I still had it in me to do that.

Whelp…the old Chromebook seems to have given up the ghost. Despite being plugged in, it is dead. Won’t turn on, nothing plugged into the usb port registers anything. It’s gone. I didn’t really have anything significant on the computer itself, but now I am out of my only computer.
