I can not count the number of times this trick has saved my ass.
Here it is, the original of the first drawing I did in what would become the Avatar universe, featuring cyclops robot monkey Momo, sci-fi Aang, and bipedal Naga. They all had arrows on their heads. I didn’t know who any of them were, or what any of it meant. I was just exploring it all on paper. I did know that I liked this mystery kid’s spirit and I wanted to know more about him.
This thing is just under thirteen years old! You never know how a single drawing will change the course of your life, and the lives of many other people. I guess the lesson here is to just keep drawing, and follow the characters on the page wherever they may take you.

The Ending is a new beginning
I can't put my devotion for the Avatar world into words. In the past 10 years I have watched Aang grow and evolve into Korra, while I too grew up at the same age right along side them-10-20. 10 years of Books, action figures, comics, video games, clothes, posters, stuffed animals and all my time dedicated to this flawless show. Currently I am torn apart, but I once again thank my two favorite people, thank you Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante Dimartino. If they hadn't built these shows, my life wouldn't have been the same. Although they are over for good, I will continue worshipping them and I will force it upon my future children. Then maybe they can grow up saying"then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked!" They are over, but not dead! I will love Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra and everything else branching off of it, for the rest of my life! "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change"-Aang

Think about what we would lose: all the weird, alternative, interesting, and enlightening stuff that makes the Internet so much cooler than mainstream Cable TV. What if the only news sites you could reliably connect to were the ones that had deals with companies like Comcast and Verizon?
On September 10th, just a few days before the FCC’s comment deadline, public interest organizations are issuing an open, international call for websites and internet users to unite for an “Internet Slowdown” to show the world what the web would be like if Team Cable gets their way and trashes net neutrality. Net neutrality is hard to explain, so our hope is that this action will help SHOW the world what’s really at stake if we lose the open Internet.

Sites like tumblr, where people can freely discuss societal and political issues would suffer tremendously. I swear sending a message to FCC is so important for everyone in the United States, where the Internet is the only true outlet for this kind of stuff.
