“Sadie, I’ve been meaning to bring something up to you. With Zoe gone I need someone to take her place. You know I’ve incorporated Petra into our business but there’s still a few people that are... You know because of her early relationship with Rhys. Zoe being by my said kept a balance.“

Petra watched the faces of the crowd to search for any signs of discomfort, of weaknesses. She marked each off in her head as Jacob continued to speak.

After the murmur of agreement settled and the crowd dispersed Petra stepped behind Jacob and spoke in his ear. “I found you a new supplier for your glass. Come with me.”

“Yeah. What’s up, Petra?“ Jacob gave everyone a finally look then followed after Petra.
