TOTAL DRAMA KIDS COMIC PART 1

Here it is, from 2013, with all the grammatical errors and the naivety of a girl who has just learned how to use photoshop and had no idea how a canadian elementary school is, the first part of TDK comic.

(In hindsight, Courtney should actually be pinching Duncan's nose to stop the bleeding, but when I was a kid they made me hold my head up so I didn't get my clothes dirty, so please forgive the mistake!)

I was just graduated from high school and I was triyng to find a place for me in the world, my parents were getting divorced and a lot of bad stuff was happening in my life at that time (I remember crying a lot, maybe too much, when The Thing happened in Total Drama World Tour, because Courtney life was too similar to what was happening in my life to me and to people I loved, so I guess Gwuncan fans can forgive me if that is a ship I don't like and in my AU didn't exists).

But I remember that drawing this fan comic gave me a purpose every week to keep drawing and not give up on my dream to be a comic artist!

Also, the day I made the second page I brought home my bunny Taylor, who stayed with me until last january, so this post is dedicated to her too, who nibbled some of the original pages ❤️

Video Game Night: Lars discovers Sadie has already been with someone and cries in front of her for the first time. Here I was writing for Steven Universe's "Joking Victim" and trying to peg down their dynamic behind-the-scenes of Steven's more child-like world.

This was never meant to be "on screen" but its the dark matter that informs the rest of the actions we see taking place in Joking Victim.
