really want some raw angst about yugi being really angry at atem for leaving him. like, in the end, its gotta make him feel like it was all for nothing, their friendship was some meaningless thing- a means to an end. it was temporary, it was always going to end someday, there was no future when the king's memories were concerned. imagine how small and sad and bitter he'd feel once it was all over, the dust settled, and he was supposed to feel proud about his own growth, but what was the point of getting stronger if the person you got stronger for left you?
