I’m all for making the Hades-related stuff scarier. It’s one of the reasons I enjoyed TLC so much. I mean, the whole church sequence with Alone?? With him running to the painting only to find it has his face?? The reveal of everything he paints dying?? Imagine the horror potential.

Also that one pannel of Radamanthys standing with his heart ripped out and Shion looking at that husk only to see that he starts moving again. Holy shit.

The fact that the spectres don’t die. You fight them with all you have, over and over again, but they just keep coming. You can never get rid of them. Spectres fighting with limbs torn out. Spectres fighting with gashes down their middle. Spectres walking on shattered bones that you can see popping out through their skin.
