It had already been an overcast day, but the woods felt darker for some reason.Darker, and still- not even a breeze seemed to breath here, and one can forget about birds or other creatures. it was dark, and still, but otherwise, the woods seemed... normalish.

Someone is watching.

Noone is around. right?

Pokey shivered, his arms wrapped around himself tightly. He hated spring, almost moreso than he hated winter. At least in the winter, you expect it to be freezing all the time. Spring was either just right, or freeze-your-ass-off type cold out.

The obnoxiously strong winds that seemed to follow him everywhere didn't help the fourty-farenheit that he was constantly being smacked in the face with all day.

Which, all of that put together made it feel a lot stranger when he suddenly reached a part of the forest that was... Still. Like the eye of a storm. He watched the winds blow the trees back and forth in the distance, before looking around at the small clearing he had found himself in, where there was absolutely no wind. It was so quiet, too.

Weird.

Was someone else there?

Pokey glanced around once more before sighing and plopping onto the ground. "Whatever..." He mumbled. If someone else was there, they would just have to deal with him. Maybe if he was lucky, he'd finally be able to sleep.

And they also don't know how to feed themselves for a long while; And some yet continue not to know as they get into adulthood. Pets can be taught how to hunt for themselves just like a a young human can be taught how to make a meal. If you look at it that way, neither are really that different."

"Most people enjoy the companionship. I would enjoy having a cat, or maybe a pet bird, but I don't have enough time to dedicate to them. Pets can help relieve stress. Especially when a cat purrs. Something about the noise releases good feeling chemicals in the brain." Jane gives a shrug and a smile.
