1. [2010] This was one of the pieces I did for school! I was for my O’s and it’s one of my favorite pages from the storybook. Acrylics on canvas. I miss painting traditionally.

2. [2017] I decided to pick another school thing as comparison. These are parts of my senior year film! Totally different medium and subject matter. Surprisingly, the color scheme is rather similar...

Tanaka Ryuunosuke is a great senpai

If you need proof, take this wonderful moment during the 2nd Seijoh match where right after the second set and Yamaguchi’s 5 straight serves, Yamaguchi starts doubting himself again after seeing Oikawa’s amazing monster serve.

Oikawa is a beast at serves and somewhere between the lines and in Yamaguchi’s head he probably wonders if he will ever be as good an asset to his team as Oikawa.

Then here comes Tanaka

Not missing out a chance to compliment someone’s amazing work, but then he see’s Yamaguchi’s doubts.

And what does he do?

Tanaka (with a bit of help from another great senpai) without missing a beat gives Yamaguchi a wonderful piece of advice that comes straight from personal experience, and we get a pure wonderful smile out of it.
