I realize- the saddest part is how the more I opened up to being myself, the more distant you became. I had my walls put up high for so long, but I put em down for you because I really believed things would be different. Guess that’s what I get for being such a hopeless romantic in the moment.

I really thought everything was going well. I don’t think I’ve ever given so much of my all into a relationship. I was so excited to plan for our anniversary. I saw a future with you. I’ve never felt so blindsighted and disheartened.
