What about the people who only have a net worth in the billions? They may ‘have’ a billion dollars or more, but that’s only because they stand at the head of huge company. The company is what’s worth billions, but the person who owns the company is valued at the worth of that company but that doesn’t mean they have billions in the bank. Would you kill Amazon by saying Jeff Bazos shouldn’t have a net worth in the billions?
