Finally hatched this adorbable goomster. 1175 eggs hatched over the course of half a year of on again off again breeding. I finally got my favorite pokemon as a shiny!

Day 31 - All Time Favorite Pokemon

It is finally that time tumblr... my all time favorite Pokemon in the history of forever.

Phanpy! The most tiny, adorbs, blue elephant in the history of awesome. There is no way this Pokemon will ever escape the number 1 slot in my heart, he just means too much to me. 

I will have to say though, Goomy makes a really close number 2, but there is no way that chubby slime ball dragon will usurp Phanpy's throne. 

My top favorites in no particular order after Phanpy and Goomy are, Stunfisk, Torterra, Durant, Carbink, Umbreon, Aron, Tirtouga, and Swirlix.

Day 29 - Scariest Pokemon

Don't get me wrong, I actually kinda like Banette's mega evolution, but it doesn't stop Banette and Mega Banette from haunting my nightmares.

Day 28 - Cutest Pokemon 

Well, I find a lot of Pokemon super cute and full of adorbs, but I have gone through all of my choices for cutest Pokemon in earlier days, so this one is for my amazing girlfriend, who loves Fatachu so very much.

Day 26 - Favorite starter Pokemon

Turtwig! I love this adorable tortoise and the Atlas he evolves into. So much adorbs!

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the starter Pokemon, they happen to all be very well made and it becomes increasingly difficult to keep just going with the grass starter every new game. Honorable mentions include: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Treecko, Mudkip, Piplup, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Froakie (practically all of them)...

Day 25 - Favorite Legendary Pokemon

Merry Christmas! I hope the weather is cold enough for everyone... what a perfect day to honor my favorite Legendary Pokemon, Kyurem!

Not Black or White Kyurem... Those Pokemon are cool, but they do not represent what I like more about Kyurem, which is its solemn, incomplete, broken feel. 

This legendary had so much mystery around it back in B/W, why was half of its wing missing? What happen to half of its face? Why was he so hunched over while his brethren stood up tall and were just clearly stronger, both stat wise and within story context. I loved that mystery and its incompleteness of just being a dark, grim, legendary monster.

Honorable mentions include: Ho-oh, Zapdos, Zygarde (I can't wait to see what they do with it in later titles), Regirock, Latios, Raikou, Terrakion, Victini, and Meloetta.

Day 24 - Favorite Pokemon design

This took a lot of thinking to do, probably one of the hardest days to decide upon, but alas, here it is...

Klinklang! Object based Pokemon get way more hate than they deserve, not sure what all them so called "Pokemon Purists" think is so wrong with object-based Pokemon but whatever. This guys design is simply extraordinary. 

It is simple, yet fascinatingly complex, working on multiple levels of intricacy, and progression through evolution is logical yet not boring. 

Honorable mentions include - Garbodor, Klefki, Porygon (and his evolutions, Porygon-Z really shined as a well designed Pokemon after seeing its X and Y animation), and Hawlucha.

Day 23 - Favorite single stage Pokemon

Druddigon! Since I don't really like repeating* Pokemon on days

Druddigon gets a chance to shine! He is a mix of the silliness, and sheer fierce awesome that I really enjoy out of this series.

Honorable mentions include: Stunfisk, Durant, Carbink, Heatmor, Heracross, Tropius, Rotom, and Skarmory.

Day 22 - Favorite Mega Evolution

AmPHABaros! This fabio god of a Pokemon takes all of my favorite qualities of Pokemon, especially, Ampharos, and makes them PHAB! and AWESOME!

Honorable mentions include: Venusaur, Pinsir, Scizor, Aggron, and Abomasnow

Day 20 - Favorite electric rodent

Emo-mo! Finally an electric rodent that does something different from the whole Pikachu clone thing. Not to mention super adorbs!
