Masjid Putra, Putrajaya, Malaysia. . The Putra Mosque (Malay: Masjid Putra) is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags. . The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and consists of three main functional areas – the prayer hall, the Sahn, or courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. Taken while waiting for Jumat prayer today. It is predicted that next Sunday (Ahad) will be Eid Al-Fitr which going to be the big celebration for Moslem around the world. For almost one month we have been "trained" to hold ourselve from what is halal for us in usual days, to remember Allah more than our usual days, to put more effort doing prayer in day and night. . Then the thoughts coming back to me, did I do my best for this year? Did I improve my Ramadhan compared to before? Could I be better? Am I sad knowing this Ramadhan will be over soon? .
