do you ever think that if people on this website actually did something about social injustices instead of just bitching about 'white straight cis males' as the root of all evil, they may actually have less to complain about?
It’s easier to sit in the comfort of your home and pretend like you’re doing marginalized groups a favor by creating/reblogging hypocritical and hateful posts than it is to go out and participate in anything.
I hate it when people say, ‘let’s get rid of cancer!’.
No. Fuck you. If you know any basic biology, you would know that cancer is a byproduct of being alive. We replicate cells everyday, for a bitchingly long ass time. SOMETHING is going to go wrong, down the line because we are not perfect. So no. We can’t get rid of cancer. We can’t, 'fight’ cancer. If you wanna truly stop cancer, then drop dead. That’s a sure, 100% way to fight cancer, alright.
What we can do, is prevent, manage and cure as if – which it is – it’s a fact of life. Stop trying to make demons out of nothing. It’s childish.
And another thing – we don’t need awareness for cancer. A sizeable amount of people, will be affected by it in their lives either through relatives, friends or developing it themselves. 'Raising awareness’ (in the sense of making people know that others suffer from it, not in the 'these are the signs’ sort of way, which I fully support) is useless and a waste of money. Fund it into research, hospices and other support networks for sufferers instead.

No one is saying you’re not allowed to comment on their art, but if they don’t want to change whatever it is that they drew, you simply block or unfollow them. It’s not right to make numerous call out blogs and harass them to suicide. Besides most of the things that you all consider to be racist, etc; isn’t. It’s always an overreaction. It gets a bit ridiculous when an artist drawing a character one shade lighter than usual is considered racism on this website.

I need feminism because i’ve been out of an emotionally abusive relationship for a year, and i still get told how it must have been my fault.

I need feminism because I saw a guy getting kicked in the balls for being rude to a girl and calling her a slut. They all watched it happen, and comforted him. I saw a girl trying to defend herself for being called a slut, but they just laughed and said she was on her period. A guy gets sympathy for being a dick, but a girl gets called out on something she can’t even control? Tell me how much we don’t need feminism.

I identify as an attackhelicopterkin. In a past life, I was soaring over oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being an attack helicopter in a past life is impossible and I’m fucking retarded but I don’t care, I was beautiful. I had rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missles on my body.
