Rivalry || Matori & Proton
"Wouldn’t say I’m unable to control them so much as they both wanna be the one who sees my orders through." The Executive said with an innocent shrug, apparently finding absolutely nothing wrong with the copious amounts of property damage his Pokemon were responsible for. If anything, he was actually somewhat proud of them; after all, Proton himself was more than capable of doing a number on headquarters if the mood happened to strike him. In retrospect, it was probably a good thing the rest of his Pokemon sans Legume either didn’t have a particularly strong opinion of him either way or actively loathed him; the last thing anyone needed was a gigantic water monster trying to be a brownie hound and leaping into the fray as well. If anything, it was a miracle in and of itself that he had managed to figure out mega evolution with the damn thing, and even then, it had taken copious amounts of hard work and hours of letting it sit in front of his television.
"If I owe you a favor, then I owe you a favor. Next time you need someone killed, maimed or tortured, you know who to call." He watched idly after that, shoving his hands into his pockets as Matori released her Pokemon. Marowak and the Pawniard were completely oblivious to the psychic kitten’s presence, too distracted by their feud to notice any attempts to interfere until the Ground type was fully enveloped in an otherworldly glow. There was a brief pause then, one during which the dual Steel and Dark type stared at her opponent as she waved her club about uselessly in a semi-threatening manner, before deciding to take advantage of Marowak’s helplessness to get in a few additional cheap blows.
"Uh." Proton began, staring at his Pokemon and wondering whether now was a good time to try to return them or not. "Was that supposed to happen?"
“If that’s the terms of the favor, then you’re never going to sleep again in your life,” Matori deadpanned. “My current shitlist could rival the phone book in terms of length.”
She grinned as Espurr effortlessly lifted a Pokemon that probably ate things the kitten’s size for breakfast.
“What, you’ve never seen a Confusion attack before?”
