In the process of thinking about different material and geometric systems that can relate to modularity and deployability, I've begun to explore recursive aggregates of platonic solids that might inform the larger formation of either distinct or integrated spatial units. These modules are not yet thought of on an architectural scale, but do begin to suggest how creating separation or unity between modular constructions could begin to inform programmatic relationships purely based on the size and configuration of modules. Two modules have been generated thus far using tetrahedrons: one that aggregates at the smaller faces in generations (single module, middle image), and a second that aggregates at the larger faces (1st generation, right image).
