You know how friends groups when one of you comes out and then everybody comes out and it turns out you'd all been LGBT the entire time and some ppl even knew before you did? Yeah like that

It’s interesting to me that Rani just. Never stopped being popular in Booster fandom. She’s in one comic run that otherwise doesn’t get as much attention but she gets passed down like a beloved heirloom from the 2000s boostle livejournal era to now. I had heard of her so much when I was first getting into Booster comics that I skipped some v2 runs my first time around to get right to Rani lmao

I don’t think it’s especially uncommon for forgotten superhero children to be loved by fans even after they disappear from canon, but a lot of the ones I at least am aware of come from more popular stories or eras for their parents. Even if it’s not unique that it’s happened to her, it’s still very charming to me that no one but DC themselves wants to let her go. I think it really speaks to what a good character she is and how much she adds to her corner of the universe

anyways I just think she’s neat
