“… That almost sounds like a challenge. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard.”
“You are free to start a survey.”
zckiych:
She watched him, nodding towards him since she knew he’d had to have been stood up at least once in his life. “never have– sorry. gotta try a little harder.” she muttered and smirked, “never have i ever gotten or done oral in in public.”
He shrugged at her answer, he hadn’t lied but he couldn't know about her. “How public are we talking about though? If we’re talking about an audience around then I’ve never done it. Or is it in a public place?”
alyssacordero:
“A generous amount of fun? I’m guessing, that’s your oh so modest opinion.”
“You would have a hard time trying to find someone who think s I don’t know how to have fun.”
zckiych:
She rolled her eyes before glancing at the ceiling. “have you ever would get me drunk so let’s go lombardi. i’m prepared to live, as you said,” she announced after ordering a round of shots.
“And I’m happy to help,” he smirked, pulling one of the shot glasses closer to him. “Let’s start easy. Never have I ever been stood up.”
lilcxh:
“i-i’m not putting you in that group matt, it might have sounded like that but it’s not what i meant, i know you’re not like that i was just talking about the majority. i’m sorry.”
“Relax with the apologies, will you? I didn’t even know you had a stutter.”
lilcxh:
“trust me, i know, i am so done with bad boys and the little pick up line tricks that you all play.. oh yeah, i know all the red flags.”
“I don’t do pick up lines, and I sure don’t go breaking doors down over a girl. You’ve got me wrong if you’re putting me in the same little group as whoever this guy is.”
plutolcmbari:
“I’m sure it was.” She shook her head. “It isn’t now. It will be.”
“Well, you do your super secret thing thing.”
alyssacordero:
“What kind of group of people do you like then?”
“The normal king. A bit of hate, a bit of love, and generous amount of fun. People like me.”
rcsaline:
WITH A TILT of her head, rosaline people-watched as she stood against a pillar in the room. she swiveled the drink in her hand before bringing it up to her lips. she was slightly startled by a sudden voice in her ear. “old man Wilson is lovely, don’t be an asshole.”, she said in an annoyed tone. after a few moments of silence, rosie added, “but he is really old…”
“He is lively. Too lively for my like. He must be in so many drugs to still be pulling this off -- illegal and doctor prescribed ones,” he reasoned. “Yes, and if he wasn’t so fucking stubborn I would be a hundred bucks richer and giving Hugh Emerich a hard time over losing yet another bet,” he added with hints of annoyance of his own.
lilcxh:
“that’s true, i guess. you know, i was dating this guy once, super cute, like i would of totally given it to him if he wasn’t a total nutcase. anyways, he kicked down my door because i didn’t answer his text right away… i was in the shower matt, the shower, and he kicked down my door… he was crazy.”
“Sounds like he needed a straitjacket, and you need better taste in guys.”
plutolcmbari:
“Two years. You’ll see when it’s time for it to be seen.”
“It was enough,” he rolled his eyes. “I’m sure it’s great.”
zckiych:
She laughed, but she also couldn’t help herself to agree with him. “more entertainment out of me? do you want my cause of death be my father’s mouth?” she questioned, “mmhm. you’re not acting out, please. –but i guess, since you want something more exciting let’s do it. might as well play a drinking game with the amount of drinks we’re allowed to have here.”
“Your father’s mouth? I have to admit I’m intrigued by that image,” he deadpanned. But it was the girl’s offer that had him smirking big. “Now, we’re talking. Are in more of truth or dare or have you ever mood?”
rcsaline:
ROSIE LATCHED her arm onto his as she began walking towards the car. she leaned into him as she began to say, “what are you gonna do ?? opened the door and push me out. i was planning on playing some J-Biebz maybe some T-Swizzle. maybe i could add some cotton-eyed joe in there, too.”
“Actually, I was planning to stop the car first,” he replied casually. Each words was spoken with such conviction that strangers might just believe he would actually do it. “I hope you have your running shoes on, Rosie.”
zckiych:
“People go to vagas to get married,” she teased. she knew what he thought, it was the same thing as everyone else. it was just she didn’t like the idea of wasting money just because you have it. to her, it was stupid but she knew it wouldn’t change matteo the slightest. “i’m not reckless– not completely. i don’t need to be someone who’s acting out or anything to be living.”
“No, that’s what people stupidly and drunkenly do when they’ve already lost enough money,” he pointed out with a side smirk. “Believe me, I know you’re not. I can still accept you, even if I usually appreciate a bit more entertainment, Z,” he nodded. “Acting out? God, I don’t think I’ve done that since I was twelve. Those were the good days.”
wtffclara:
“i always think of old people as the stereotypical ones who eat dinner ant four thirty and are in bed by eight. i always feel like they’d be too tired to come but i’m always proven wrong. i know they’re definitely not for us, if they were this would be a lot more fun.” she turned her attention to the band, and she wasn’t shocked when it was one she hadn’t even heard of. “i wish they could have their business meeting without having to make us come.”
“You are certainly thinking about the wrong kind of old people,” he commented with a raise of his brow. “These are the wealthy kind, they will have late nights sipping on champagne and scotch, maybe even snort a little coke,” he explained with a tilt of his head. “But what would be said about the perfect families of Hartcroft Park if we weren’t here?” It was a rhetorical question, of course.
lilycvl:
“there’s something about staying alive out of sheer stubbornness that i really admire.” lily commented, her lips pursed in thought. “shut up, i’m not painfully boring — maybe you’re just painfully annoying, did you ever think of that?” she retorted, arms indignantly folded over her chest. there was some middle ground between annoying and entertaining, where lily figured her conversations with matteo tended to stay. “mhm, builds tolerance too. it’s a wonder i haven’t kicked your shins by now.
“Maybe because you know a thing or two about stubbornness. I feel for your family when you’re that age,” he pipped, emptying his glass and getting a new one from a passing waiter. “It did cross my mind once or twice, but I dismissed it as the ridiculous idea that it is,” he retorted with one of his signature smirks. “It’s not too big of a wonder when one knows how much you actually enjoy me and my company,” he added smugly.
