Bliss shrugged. “ Because I’m impressionable? ” Thinking back on her childhood, she knew she had been quite well guarded from everything that could cause her harm, including lying. “ It’s a shock to me because I know you’re not that bad of a person that you can go around lying to everybody. ”

Matthias raised a hand and ran it through his hair before turning his attention back towards the girl in front of him. “ So, you think just because you’re impressionable you’d think I’d spare you the action of seeing me lie? Not sorry to point this out, but I’m not that caring nor am I a teacher so I don’t really get at what you should be expecting. ”

Matthias cocked his head slightly at the girls reply. “ But I’m willing to lie in front of anyone. What makes you think you’re so different than anyone else? ” He questioned her. “ Or have you really been that guarded as a child that even a simple lie comes as a shock to you? ”

Blanche rolled her eyes. “Whatever. It was wrong of me to expect a change in you. And no I did not think you’d burst into flames, but it would give me great pleasure if right now you did.” She retorted back to him.

“ Sadly, that is something else that won’t seem to happen as you hoped. Maybe if you asked one of those magical kids to nicely they might be able to turn me around. Or set me ablaze if you really liked that idea so much. ”

“ In multiple cases really: when trying to get out of something, pursuing someone your way, or I would you like the simple scenario of trying not to hurt someone or did you suspect that I’d burst into flames for merely mentioned such a nice thing? ”
