“Okay okay so at the valetine’s day dance this guy suggested we go check out this room that was elegedly haunted, so of course I went up there with Pacifica and for a while it was a little bogus. After a while though the ghost actually showed up and I have video evidence! “Dipper pulled out his phone and searched for the video, showing the screen to hir. “Oh! And I got this mysterious note thingy, I don’t know how it ended up in my pocket but it could be a huge lead. Well, alright I guess I’ll have some too then.”

‘ what a great way to ring in valentine’s -- show me, ’ jack jack took the phone in her hands, a wide grin appearing on hir face as ze saw the video. ‘ no fuckin’ way, oh my god, this is amazing -- what’d the note say? there’s like, everything in the bag, go wild. ’

“Oh thank god you’re back, you’ll never believe what me and some of others have dug up while you we’re gone it’s- six pounds? Six pounds of candy? Are you sure you should really be eating any of that right after getting better?”

‘ no, i mean a life threatening flu that i coulda died from, ’ jack jack corrects hir sister, shaking hir head. ‘ i got like, everything they had. you can look if you want. either way we’re hanging out today. ’

‘ alright, so, i’ve just come out of my room after a week of battling a life-threatening disease, and to celebrate, i’ve purchased about six pounds of candy. considering i can’t eat all of this by myself -- want some? ’

Me too.” She smiled, wrapping her arms around hir, not even caring about the paint any longer. Vi rubbed hir shoulder in the hug, happy to hear the words ze said. “I love you too, Jack Jack. Never change.”

‘ remember when mom and dad thought i was one for like, a month ?? i had to go to a therapist and everything. ‘ ze shakes hir head at the memory, a small chuckle escaping hir. ze stopped when violet moved foward, though, a small scream escaping hir as the wire was triggered, and three gallons of green paint fell on the both of them.

“When you’re around a sister who’s obsessed with bedazzle guns and arts and crafts it bound to happen. Accientally got a whole gallon of it dumped on me, wasn’t looking where I was going of course while Mabel was working on one of her projects. Oh man glue? That must’ve sucked extra.” Dipper laughed, happy that everything was going smooth now. “Well it’s a secret, and I can’t go around and tell people who just dumped paint on me secrets y’know.” He was joking of course, remembering that sometimes humor was a good way of making friends.

‘ that, my friend, sounds like a terrible experience. a whole gallon ?? jesus. it did, like, it hurt getting it off. but i think it made it a little easier. ‘ ze shrugged, a laugh of hir own escaping hir. ‘ but i’m great at keeping secrets. even for someone who likes to dump paint on people. ‘ ze replied, hir tone joking.

Alice’s eyes went slightly wide as the the person before her spoke. “Oh, my favorite?” Alice paused to think, “I really do love Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The novel, of course. Though I’m a bit biased, as I share the name.” She giggled slightly. “I much prefer the originals to the disney remakes, though they’re all wonderful in their own way.” She grinned, happy to find someone who enjoyed the same things as her, more or less. And how about you? What are your favorites?”

‘ i figured. but i gotta admit, alice’s adventures were awesome. like, going to a magical land where literally nothing makes sense ?? sign me up. ‘ jack jack grinned. ‘ i get that, though i like the disney remakes because of the animation. ‘ ze thought for a moment before answering. ‘ hm -- well i’d have to say any of the brother’s grimm versions. mainly little red riding hood. ‘

Liz paused, looking over her shoulder towards whoever was speaking. It took her a moment before she placed Jack Jack in her mind. The question seemed odd and the answer seemed obvious. But then she thought about it, looked down at her clean dress and thought about how she’d come her planning on making it look interesting with paint. So….against all odds she shrugged and nodded, taking a drink straight from the bottle. “Why not.”

jack jack knew the other would probably regret this later, but the opportunity was just too good to pass up. holding the balloon in hir hand ze stepped back for a second, throwing it at the girl’s torso and grinning proudly when neon pink paint splattered her. clapping hir hands together ze grinned at elizabeth. ‘ beautiful !! ‘
