Family Times - David, Julia & Ramone

A couple weeks ago my band Wintermitts and I went to Iqaluit, Nunavut to play the Alinait Arts Festival. What a trip! Pictures cannot describe the beauty, the depth or the culture. It was one of my most favourite trips ever and feel forever grateful for the opportunity.

Campbell Bay Music Festival 2014 on Mayne Island.

Gem of a festival on the Iredale Farm. Keeps getting a wee bigger and the DIY outhouses have good use. Perhaps going every year will be a family tradition.

last week Sunday I did a photo shoot with my good friend Hannah Georgas, musician extraordinaire. we managed to get some good light and shot in her quaint apartment.

For lack of anything new that I've had the oppoutunity to photograph, and in honor of the recently released "Parallax" album by Atlas Sound, I decided I'd select a favorite pic from the past that I took for an online mag about two years ago of Bradford Cox at the Biltmore. I figure nobody's going to see many of my old photos anywhere else really, so here ya go!

Gearing up, on the up for my 28th year, I'm becoming more bold, more certain of what I want, for myself and from others. The meter feels as though it is often ticking, however I truly believe that good things come to those who wait, and the future is unknowing.
