One of the things I’ve decided I need to do this year is show my face more. Over the last few years I’ve very rarely posted any photos of myself. I want people to know that the person they’re buying from whether it be commissions or items from my Etsy shop is a real person! Basically I am just an artist trying very hard to not be a starving artist. My goal is to be able to make a living creating my own art and I am hoping to take a big step in that direction this year. Two things I include in every package I send out is free stickers and a handwritten thank you card. I think both are important. I like to give out a free sticker because I think people like to get an unexpected surprise and I personally select each freebie sticker depending on what sticker the person purchased. I try to pick a sticker I think they’ll like. I’ve been thinking about the freebies I give out and I think I have something exciting coming up that people will like. Also I think handwritten thank you cards are an absolute must! It adds a human touch to the package. 54 sales and nothing but 5 star reviews! I am gonna do my best to keep this up! I am happy with how my shop is doing so far. I’ve stoped running Etsy ads for now as it was literally eating up all of my profits.
