“It took me a few attempts to learn, so that’s okay, Liam.” Matt says with a nod, assuring him he didn’t have to perfect it first go. “Good good, how about I show you once more?” Matt he suggests, hoping that would help Liam out.

“You are, buddy.” Matthew grins, watching Robert so easily pick up on the trick he was glad. Some people wouldn’t find it so easy, Matt he claps his hands to applaud Robert. “Soon you’ll be better than I am.” Matt says jokingly.

“Hi,” Ashley said, she didn’t often feel awkward usually she could talk for hours even when she was nervous, but for some reason what her and Matthew had discussed last time had cut of her tongue in a way. “It was really good, yeah I enjoyed it a lot, how was this place?” she asked him.

"Have you been good?" Matthew asks, not sure what to say. So he just makes simple conversation. The last run in they had he confessed to still having feelings for her and then he kissed her. So what was he suppose to do? He didn't know. "That's great, this place isn't so bad. I actually quite like it." A small smile appears on Matthews lips.

Seems so, lately haven't heard anything of him though. Really is, I'm enjoying the independence it offers. Also the fact I'm not the worst cook here.

"Thank you, Miss Larson." Matthew offers her a bright smile. He was glad to see some interest in his trick. "It's all an optical illusion, I tricked your mind into thinking I'd actually pierced the dollar bill. The pen really isn't in it. Have a look for yourself." Matthew then passes the note to her.

"Now take a card any card you like and don't show me it. In fact keep it until I say to give it back." Matthew says with a grin, holding the deck out so she could take a card. Card tricks he always found fun to do.
