Le pauvre Matelot (Der alte Matrose) - animation - 00:05:00 - 2019

For the opera "le pauvre matelot” at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden I created an animation piece in the style of the early 20th century abstract animation artists like Oskar Fischinger, Walter Ruttmann and Hans Richter.

The research about this era was extremely fun and the final result brought me closer to think about the concept of the expanded cinema in my future projects.
