We asked for a normal life

Every part of our lives has been systematically destroyed by a clerical regime that controls how we dress, how we speak, what we learn, what we believe, and even how we dream.

I am EXHAUSTED from living an entire life in hardship, from working myself to the bone just to experience, for a brief moment, what it feels like to live as a normal human being.

We did not ask for luxury. We did not ask for power. We asked for a normal life.

‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‌𑁍 Golestan Palace 𑁍

So I took these photos from my tiny trip to there (I am NOT good at taking pictures i know that (T^T))

𑁍 Kakh Golestan/Golestan Palace dates ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌back to the late 1500s.(Golestan means a ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌garden full of flowers.)

𑁍 It's one of the oldest historical buildings in ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌Tehran.

𑁍 It used to be the royal residence of the ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌Qajar kings. many royal coronations and ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ceremonies happened there.

𑁍 my favorite one was the "Hall of Mirrors" it ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌felt like walking into a jewelry land.
