Apple "Spaceship" Campus by Spencer_R Via Flickr: The model's facade is constructed in segments using white LEGO 1x2 rail plates and trans-black plates. A faceted approach to approximating the curvature of a round building is a traditional approach in both LEGO and in actual building construction. This is in stark contrast to the actual Apple Park "Spaceship" which is truly a round building using the largest panels of curved glass in the world. Each outer ring glass panel is 15m in length and the inner ring panels are 11m long. Using various considerations for the LEGO model's scale and symmetry, the math worked out to 144 outer ring segments and 112 inner segments. The ring is about 2.5ft in diameter. Lego Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10

I’m posting here some images of my Lego Racers 8145 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano set that I own. It is a really nice Lego set, especially if you like Lego Technic and/or cars. Yes, it is actually a Lego Racers set, but if I saw it without its box, I would say it’s a Technic set, because it consists of parts that are typical for Lego Technic. This set has 1,326 pieces and it took me some decent time to build it.

A Remarkable Automatic Guitar Strumming Robot Made Using LEGO Mindstorms Technology

Five storied female NASA pioneers will soon grace toy-store shelves, in Lego form.

The Danish company announced on Tuesday that it would produce the Women of NASA set, submitted by science writer Maia Weinstock.

“Women have played critical roles throughout the history of the U.S. space program,” Weinstock wrote in her project proposal. “Yet in many cases, their contributions are unknown or under-appreciated – especially as women have historically struggled to gain acceptance in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.”

She said the set is meant to shed light on the rich history of women in STEM professions.
